Glasses with more complex prescriptions may take longer due to specialised glazing techniques required. Our customer service team will advise you of any significant delays to your order via email and through the My Orders area in your account.

What do the Numbers Mean?
All measurements are taken in mm with the arm length rounded to the nearest 5mm.
The Arm Length
This number represents the arm length of the glasses or sunglasses. The arm length is measured from the dowel point (the hinge area) to the extreme end of the side, this is made up of the length to the bend and the length of the drop to give the overall length of side.
The Bridge Width
This number represents the bridge width of the glasses or sunglasses. The bridge width is the minimum horizontal distance between the nasal surfaces of the rims on a plastic or metal frame, or the minimum horizontal distance between the nasal surfaces of the lenses in rimless frames.
The Lens Width
This number represents the lens width of the glasses or sunglasses. The lens width is the distance between the vertical sides of a rectangle containing the lens shape. On some occasions for Sunglasses with a single 'sheild/visor' style lens, we will enter the width as 0 or 99.
The Frame Height
This number represents the Frame height of the glasses or sunglasses. The Frame height is the distance between the top and bottom sides of a rectangle containing the lens shape. If we do not have this measurement stored then this measurement will not be displayed
How do I Know What Size Is Best?
If you are not sure what measurement is best for you, take a look at your current pair of glasses or sunglasses, these will have a measurement on the arm or on the bridge in a format like 135 - 15 - 48 although this can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The below image is a good example of how frame dimensions are clearly identified.
