Quick Size Guide

Lens Width
The lens width is the distance between the vertical sides of a rectangle containing the lens shape (in mm).

The Bridge Width
The bridge width is the minimum horizontal distance between the nasal surfaces of the rims on a plastic or metal frame, or the minimum horizontal distance between the nasal surfaces of the lenses in rimless frames.

Arm Length
The arm length is measured from the dowel point to the extreme end of the side, this is made up of the length to the bend and the length of the drop to give the overall length of side.

Total Frame Width
Another measurement to consider would be the overall width of the frames, the diagram above illustrates this, it is important to note, aside from two times the lens width plus the bridge width the overall width is also dictated by factors such as the thickness of the rims of the frames and how swept out the lugs are from the frame. Our measurements give an approximate indication to the overall width taking into consideration the lenses and bridge but not the lugs of the frame, this measurement is approximate and will vary according to the type and design of the frames.

How Can I find the Measurements of my Current Frame?
The size information of your current frame (lens & bridge width, and arm length) can usually be found by looking on the inside of the frame (usually printed on the arms or the bridge). The measurements will often appear like 135-18-50 (Arm Bridge - Lens Width).

Prescription Glasses usually take between 7-10 days to complete. Glasses with more complex prescriptions may take longer due to specialised glazing techniques required.

Returning Items

Prescription Glasses and Prescription Sunglasses

If this item is purchased with prescription lenses it will be classed as a tailor made item and will therefore not be returnable for a refund should the item not suit your requirements.

Faulty Items

If you receive a faulty item please contact us through our Customer Services system where we will assist you, one of our Customer Service agents will issue you with an RMA Ticket should the item require returning.

Frame Only or Non-Prescription Sunglasses

For refunds on frame only item (without prescription lenses) or sunglass items, please contact us through our Customer Services system where we will issue you with an RMA. Items must be returned within 7 days from date of arrival for a refund, items received after this period may be incur a restocking fee. Two or more items returned for a refund may incur a restocking fee.
