Excellent quality in construction and optics - I can't understand how to do it at such a low price!

The frames of the specs are very well made and I would expect them to be 100% serviceable long after my eyes have changed optically.

Prescription reading glasses.I bought these as a second pair afer getting my main pair from Tesco. They are way better quality than the ones from Tesco that cost me over £20. You cant get better value than £6. They are now my main pair of reading glasses. Recommended.

A little small but ideal for driving

I found the frames a little small, but nonetheless they are fine for driving and look nice on. I prefer springs on the arms but these are OK without them for occasional use. For the price you can't go wrong. Overall very pleased with them.

Great value glasses

I bought these glasses as a backup to my contact lenses. Far cheaper than buing from my contact lense provider but just as good in style and quality. Arrived in 8 days, no complaints at all. Superb value for money and the third time I have used Selectspecs.

Reading glasses

The frames don't seem very robust, but are fine for the occasions when I want reading glasses instead of my usual varifocals. I was quoted nearly £100 by my optician so these were very good value in comparison. Delivered well within the estimated time. I'd be happy to buy from this site again.

excellent for the price

You pay for what you get. I only wanted a pair of cheapies to leave at work for when i read the paper and they are fine for that. They are not wide enough for me and i do wish that i had bought a more expenive pair, but the lenses are perfect for me can't complain and will definitly use selectspecs again

silver framed glasses with 30% green tint

These glasses cost £20 +P&P £4 They are nice glasses which I like . They were delivered promptly without any fuss. My only slight disappointment was the fact that they didn't have sprung arms. I have bought cheaper glasses in the past which did have sprung arms. That was without tint so maybe they are comparable. overall they are good. thank you.

This is the second time I have used select specs, the first time I approached the idea very cautiously, not knowing what quality of product was going to be shipped to me. I was cautiously optimistic when I received my new bi-focal's for a fraction of the cost of my local merchant. Exactly what was required and fantastic value!

I needed a new prescription pair of glasses for computer use, and I am using the Savannah specs now. They arrived more quickly than anticipated and are perfect.

screws fall out

The screw that holds the lens in place has fallen out and disappeared, that's after 6 months use. This isn't the first time I've had problems with the screws on select specs glasses falling out.

SelectSpecs.com says: Hi, it's quite normal for screws to work loose over time with normal use on any pair of budget or designer glasses. We recommend using a screw driver to tighten the screws on a regular basis to prevent your problem from happening.

Overall price, quality and sufficiently stylish

Being a pensioner, style is unimportant but quality and value for money are. Overall a stylish pair of glasses at good quality and a fraction of the price as from the High Street retailers.

Great glasses, great prices

I was a bit sceptical about what quality I could expect from such cheap varifocals. As soon as they arrived though you could see the quality. The lenses are perfect and the frames look great. I would recommend this company to all my friends

excellent - & extremely cheap!

I'm not keen on small frames as I prefer to have as wide a field of focused vision as possible but, being on a tight budget, I bought these as they were pretty much the biggest frames in the ultra-cheap range. Luckily I've found that, because I wear my lenses very close to my eyes (for more accurate correction of my eyesight by my lenses), I do indeed have a wide field of vision with these frames. The frames are of high quality - I've had 3 pairs of these in different colours (for different strengths of lenses for use when focusing at different distances, doing different work - much more useful to me than vari-focal lenses, which I tried once years ago & couldn't get used to) & none of them have shown any weakness. The frames are also easy to adjust to fit - I bend the arms so that my glasses can't fall off if I'm working upside-down (painting awkward places!) or in strong winds (my outdoor pair) &, unlike most people, I also squash the nose pads to the frame to allow my lenses to be nearer my eyes. I've also been told that they look stylish & up-to-date fashion-wise but, not being interested in fashion, that wasn't my priority! - but it's always a nice added bonus!

Very good indeed for the low price

They look fine (IMO) the only quality problem is that the screws need regular attention/maintenance - retightening now and again. For the money they are amazing, very similar to an old pair that cost five times as much from a high street optician. As long as you have a little screwdriver and are willing to check the screws now and again, I wouldn't hesitate to recommence these.

These are great glasses! Prescription is spot on and they are light and comfy to wear. The rims are nice and bright and don't get in the way of vision over all build seems good not as fancy in finish as some glasses but hay they were 6 quid!!

Purchased these after being told I would have to pay £150 from the Opticians! The glasses are just for driving and as such are absolutely fine bearing in mind the price which was £10 delivered!!! Some people have commented on the fact that they look like child's glasses but to be honest, for £10, you cannot go wrong.
