Savannah Prescription Glasses, 2297 (Black).

Disappointed.

Ordered what I hoped would be a very noticeable yellow tint ( for some reason only 30%! Why?) only to find that they must have waved the lenses in front of the tint because there is only a hint of colour very disappointed!

SelectSpecs.com says: Hi, a 30% tint absorption is very light so it will only appear as a hint of colour. Yellow tints are mainly used to enhance contrast in overcast condition. We do not provide a dark yellow tint.

Have had glasses before from this site and have always been surprised with the quality. I used to purchase glasses from Boots but won't be going back.

Stylish and good fit but cheap and faulty in quality.

Good fit and they look good, but one arm is loose and the other is stiff and I can barely close it. The lens got foggy and no matter what I tried, they stayed foggy. I don't think the quality of lens was very good.

Savannah 2297

I came back to selectspecs.com to buy some Savannah Karoi glasses. Unfortunately, they're not available any longer which is a massive pity, because they were fabulous. I bought Savannah 2297 instead because they looked similar. They're not. I hate these new frames.

I bought these glasses as I had scratched the lenses of my last pair, with only 2 months before a (free) sight test. I was expecting a simple stopgap. These, though, are more comfortable than the expensive ones I had before. I will order another pair for my new prescription.

Can't fault these glasses, lovely modern, classy style

I bought these glasses as a spare pair to keep in the car. I am surpised at the good quality and how similar they are to the pair I bought from the optician for more than ten times the price! The shape is exactly the style that suits my square face and the glasses are light but seem quite robust, time will tell, but for less than $14 I can't complain. The hinges are a little stiff but I am sure this will lessen with use. Overall I am delighted with the shape, style, quality and value.

I have purchased several pairs of glasses from selectspecs and am constantly amazed at the value for money. At these prices I can have spare pairs to leave in the car etc. in case of damaging a contact lens.
