Why would you go anywhere else for glasses

My glasses were bought from the shop in Kent, although I have bought online before. The frames were of a far better quality than I had expected for the price, and I am very happy with them. The lenses were a high prescription so I opted for the thinnest lens, which put the price up, but the same pair of glasses on the high street would have cost me four times as much. I am unable to fault the glasses, or the help and support from the staff in the shop, who went to more lengths to ensure that I got the best deal than any other optician that I have used before. Thank you.

I bought these as a spare pair of glasses not expecting too much for the price. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. They're as good as glasses I've paid three times as much for on another site. I'll probably buy another cheap pair from selectspecs.com for computer use and a more expensive pair when I need to replace my main pair.

First prescription glasses I have had

These are the first prescription glasses I have had so was a bit wary about buying on line instead of from the opticians where I had my sight test done, but I can assure all of you out there that these glasses are really good quality and I am very pleased with my purchase and as for the price I will certainly be ordering more just in case I lose them because at these price you don't mind. First class service all round form very easy to fill in and glasses came within a few days.

I am really amazed at the price of my new glasses, and thoroughly satisfied with both the style of the frame and the efficacy of the lenses! I have gone without the glasses I need for several years now because the local stores all seem to sell us two pairs of glasses for the price of one at £70! I purchased two pairs of glasses, mostly for work and chose SelectSpecs due to their their low cost prices. I honestly didn't expect such great quality products, "you get what you pay for" certainly didn't apply. don't expect next day delivery, just expect excellent quality and incredible prices. I'd certainly buy here again. Again the anti scratch and UV coating was free, this is normally an extra at the high street opticians..

I bought these for my son as a stop gap as he broke his fcuk glasses at school and is due to get new ones in February. They suit the purpose they were bought for if I was going to buy him good glasses I would have gone for the dearer ranges. I usually buy myself 2 pairs after I get my own eyes tested simply for use in the house and they are great if they break I buy more better than breaking my designer ones which are more costly to replace, I have recommended this site to friends and family.

Lightweight general purpose glasses

Ideal for watching TV, work, reading. Lightweight, inexpensive glasses, certainly not designer class, but excellent value for money. Had a problem with my order, but was resolved efficiently (via web-chat), so good customer service.

Excellent budget glasses.

I'm not into designer wear so the lack of a name is of no importance. Glasses are very light weight, legs quite springy and feel very comfortable on. No sure how robust the nose pads and brackets are going to be, I think they might not stand up to my knocking them about a lot. I'm hard on my glasses dropping them putting them down carelessly or putting them in a pocket then leaning against something and bending them out of shape. Several pairs of these are going to be just the job and no major upset if lost or broken. Definitely worth trying.

Great pair of Glasses

Very pleased with the quality of the glasses, they look and feel good. The arms are a little thin and flexible but have not proven to be a problem. When I tell my friends how little I paid for them they can't believe it. Have ordered glasses before from Selectspecs so had no hesitation in doing so again. Only minor criticism was that I had to wait over 4 weeks for the glasses to arrive. Oh and yes, I will be ordering from Selectspecs again.

Having just received a pair of reading glasses from Selectspecs which were fine, I decided to order a pair with one diopter weaker prescription for VDU use. These arrived within a week and are ideal for computer use - very pleased!

Took a long time to come, but as previously with this company, quality of product amazing for the price. Previous pairs have taken quite a beating, still fine, and the "free" anti reflective coating works a treat. If you can wait a while, impossible to match, let alone beat!

cheap glasses at an excelent price

I bought these glasses as a cheap 2nd pair,the quality of the frame legs are a bit flexable and not quite as good as my normal glasses but they are fine for a 2nd pair that go all over,work holiday etc.however the lenses are great and the quality seems very good espeacialy with the free extras,scratch gaurd etc.they also come with a half decent case and cloth. If I replace my normal glasses I would order a better pair from selectspecs.com no problem. For this pair £10 plus postage they are excelent value for money and I have all ready recomended selectspecs.com.

You really cant go wrong with these specs. I wanted some prescription reading glasses and thought it was worth ordering some of these. Honestly you cant even buy the coatings for what these specs cost what a bargain. They took just over 2 weeks to arrive and I would have been happier to have had them a little sooner but thats not really a criticism - the post is the post and they come from Hong Kong. Overall a great buy!

excellent ... & almost unbelievably cheap!

I'm not keen on small frames as I prefer to have as wide a field of focused vision as possible but, being on a tight budget, I bought these as they were pretty much the biggest frames in the ultra-cheap range. Luckily I've found that, because I wear my lenses very close to my eyes (for more accurate correction of my eyesight by my lenses), I do indeed have a wide field of vision with these frames. The frames are of high quality - I've had 3 pairs of these in different colours (for different strengths of lenses for use when focusing at different distances, doing different work - much more useful to me than vari-focal lenses, which I tried once years ago & couldn't get used to) & none of them have shown any weakness. The frames are also easy to adjust to fit - I bend the arms so that my glasses can't fall off if I'm working upside-down (painting awkward places!) or in strong winds (my outdoor pair) &, unlike most people, I also squash the nose pads to the frame to allow my lenses to be nearer my eyes. I've also been told that they look stylish & up-to-date fashion-wise but, not being interested in fashion, that wasn't my priority! - but it's always a nice added bonus!

But....... the nose supports are too wide, and the arms are too long, so they slip down. Otherwise, the lenses are good.

I cannot wear them because I cannot see through them properly. This is a new prescription but very near to my old one, but the lenses are totally different and unwearable.

Value for money?

I purchased these as they were cheap to leave lying around the house as I'm always where my specs are not. They are so good I have no problem with using them anywhere indoors or out.

£6 for a set of glasses!! Who does that?! They arrived after a couple week wait and they are great - look very similar to my £130 Guess glasses.. They come with a case and some nice coatings. I really couldn't be happier. If you don't mind waiting a couple of weeks for them and would recommend them whole heartedly. I'm telling everyone I know.
