Hi, I bought these as a test buy for selectspecs. Against their recommendation, I got the cheapest glasses for the frame. Upon reception, which was about 3 weeks later, I immediately tried them, but got a head ache and a sore left eye. Went to a local optician to see whether the correction was correct and got that confirmed. Bought a second pair with the index that Selectspecs recommended and had no issues anymore.

So, to summarize, I'd advise to spend some more money for the glasses. The frame by the way is also great for the incredibly low price you pay.

For that price you can't complain

I'm new to glasses so wanted to try different styles as I didn't know what would suit me. This has allowed me to do exactly that and not break the bank whilst doing it.

Such great value

I purchased 3 pairs of these glasses, and I would reccomend them to all.

Screw came loose but otherwise good

Maybe I was unlucky but one of the screws holding the arm fell out. However I was lucky enough to find the screw and somewhat fix them so all's well. They are also a little too hipster-y for my tastes =)

There's just one word bargain!!!!!!!

I was a bit sceptical of purchasing these glasses via the Internet But when I received it I was quite impressed by the quality of them these are great for a second pair the only down side is I have a high prescription so I ended up paying 31 pound including delivery but saying that still the overall cost is still cheaper then specsavers for of similar pair I will use this site again there's no doubting that fact but I feel slightly punished for having a higher pescription then normal I think it should be the same price for everyone I mean someone can pay 11 pound including delivery where I paid 31 for the same pair also the frames was 6 pound when ordering them but when I typed the prescription in it said due to your prescription level your frames are 10 pound why!!!!!!! It's the same frame

This is more due to the lenses than the frame as we would advise customers with higher prescriptions to choose thinner lenses rather than standard 1.5 lenses.

good quality/value piece and excellent service

Some good some bad

Unfortunately these were badly made when I received them last october. I raised an enquiry but never got around to returning them (my fault I know, but was still annoying as I'd paid a bit more to have tints so cost me £20 instead of £6, and so now I don't have a pair of sunnies. Frame was twisted and squished on the bridge (not square when viewed from above against a set-square, and wobbles on a level surface, and so even though its supposed to be 18mm bridge it is narrower than the 16mm bridge of 77068 frame (that fit reasonably well albeit after a bit of fiddling. This is the first order that I've ever not had all the frames fit perfect to my straight and virtually symmetrical face and the only pair that cannot be worn out of ~15 pairs ordered so far.

These glasses are tiny!!! They look like they're from a child's range. So they are not suitable for me to wear. Unfortunately, I can't persue a complaint as I lost them a few days after having them!!! The lenses, however, are fantastic. Whenever I come from specsavers, the lenses always make me feel drunk, as they're never the right prescription. But these were great! Just a shame they didn't fit my face :-(

first order test with Savannah 77063

The lens was perfect, the contruction of the "Arm" and the "Bridge" was totaly wrong ! It was very tight and complete crooked in my head. I repair it alone by heating the arm anf the bridge. Off course the don't look now as a brand new glases but is ok . I will try to make another one order and I hope this time all to be ok

These are my second pair from selectspecs. The glasses and the prescription were good but the arm of the glasses were bent such that one side was lower than the other so it stis funny on the face. I was told to go to my loca opticians to fix it for free or a little or no charge. I wish the fault wasnt there in the first place

Glasses came as described, fit my face great, perfect vision. The only unsatisfactory thing was the fact that I had to wait over 10 days for shipping, and had to go to the post office to sign for the glasses since they could not drop off without signing. Also, email response from customer service about my delivery time was delayed. When they did answer they said they could not answer my question about when my glasses would arrive. Good thing they already had. Besides that, everything was great.

For 'emergency' glasses (I wear contact lenses), you cannot beat these for simplicity and value for money.

These galasses are good value for money the only thing is that they are a bit stiff - it hink selectspecs could you some stronger and more flexibale screws or their budget glasses range.
