great value for money

i have a very tight budget, but I needed to replace my old glasses. A colleague at work has many types of glasses so I asked her how she could afford them all. It was then that your site was recommended and I could not believe how affordable and modern your styles are. Both of these factors are important to me and I will making another purchase very soon.

both pairs snapped in same place

the second pair broke just to right of bridge (exactly as first pair had) on last day of holiday (luckily). tried to super glue frame back but the tension around the lens is so high that you cannot bring the frame ends back together. had to resort to walking around with a large gap in frame and superglue all the way around

A good deal better

I ordered these frames with the freeform progressive lenses and they work just fine which is something I cannot say for another cheaper online alternative. The other guys' progressives are completely unusable and just make me dizzy and nauseous. The one I got from SelectSpecs cost a little more, but I can use them.

Excellent value for the money.

Quality Value and Convieniance

The glasses are stylish and have been made to a great standard and are very light to wear. They are alot cheaper than buying on the highstreet and do not look a cheap brand Highly recommended and quick delivery

Trying varifocals for the first time at £50 instead of £250 from high street opticians

I wasn't sure that i'd get on with varifocals and because they are so expensive on the high street i've put off trying them. This pair cost me £50 including the better quality lenses..... they felt a little strange for about half an hour, which i'd been warned about by other varifocal wearers, but I very quickly got used to them and now I no longer need to lift my glasses up to read! I've already recommended select specs to my friends and family who will also be making purchases.

glasses broke within one day of having them, emailed retailer. and was ignored.

The right arm fell off my glasses the next day. I emailed select specs who ignored my email.

Very nice stylish glasses for those on a tight budget. They look much more expensive than they were and the print design on the sides is very on trend! Even my kids approve!

Very good value and excellent service

This is the second pair of these glasses I have had (unfortunately the arm snapped off the first pair). There was an issue with my delivery address and the first pair got lost. SelectSpecs were fabulous about sorting this out and sent a replacement pair right away. I love the style and the low cost and reasonable delivery cost is great. Looking for sunglasses next time.

Bought these as reading glasses, having never had readers before finding it hard to adjust to having to change specs to look up from book to talk to anyone, but that's no fault of selectspecs but my choice for not having varifocal lenses. May consider these but wanted to try seperately first. Glasses arrived in just over two weeks and are great value for money.

they are cool only one problem i have, both lenses are badly cut.. as my vision gets funny when im looking sharp left or sharp right.... like that lens is bend a bit... on my other pair of glasses from ''icon'' i dont have a that problem

Better than expected

I didn't set my expectations very high for a pair of glasses ordered online for $10. So I splurged for the insured shipping. I got them. And slough you can feel the differenc inthe weight. Vs my pair from my Doctor. You cannot see the difference. They look great. And my prescription is perfect!!! Thank you so much! It really helps having inexpensive pairs laying around. With a one year old who enjoys breaking things! Thanks again!

£6 glasses, too good to be true? Absolutely not!

I was a bit sceptical about £6 glasses to start off with, but they're perfect for what I need (mild distance prescription, occasional use) and they arrived in 10 days! So pleased :) I didn't want to spend a lot as I don't wear them all the time but compared to the cheapest ranges at high street opticians (£25 and up) I saved a lot of money and can't tell a difference in quality.

these glasses are incredible value and the prescription is perfect. I've now got 6 pairs and leave them all over the place - in the kitchen, upstairs, in my handbag and at work, so i'm never without a pair. my granddaughter broke a pair - but at this price, no problem, just get another. superb!
