These lenses and frames are fantastic value for money. I compared them with my uk made glasses from Specsavers and these are better in every respect. They also cost me some £130.00 less!!! You do have to be patient as they took several weeks to arrive but well worth the wait. Communication from the company was also first class One very satisfied customer.

frameless specs without the expensive price tag

I wanted frameless specs for many years but was not prepared to pay the high street opticians prices for them. I already tried selectspecs budget frames and was delighted with them so thought it was well worth a 30 pound investment to try out their frameless specs. I am delighted. Quality is fantastic. The magnetic sunglasses are quirky and easy to fit. I love them and would recommend this company to everyone. One of my £6 frames snapped shortly before I placed this order so I took photos emailed customer service who replaced the frames and refitted my original varifocal lenses inside at no cost. Brilliant service. Thanks selectspecs.

Fantastic Value

These are really a great buy stylish and great value. One slight issue is that the clip-ons do not appear to have an anti-reflective coating which means that you get a slight reflection from the back of the lens.

Good Value for money product

These are an excellent pair of glasses that I use for reading, they are comfortable to wear and with the benefit of the magnetic clip-on sunglasses I hope it will solve the problem I have found reading in the summer sun. Excellent value for money.

Fantastic glasses

This sort of quality and price is what has kept me coming back to selectspecs/omnioptics for years. Instead of a physical clip, the frame has magnets embedded to hold the polarized lens in front of the normal lens. This clip is rock-solid so the polarised lenses never even shift, let alone fall off. The glasses are also stylish, and incredibly light.

Great value twin set.

As usual these glasses exceeded expectations. 30 odd quid buys you sprung hinges, anti glare and scratch resistant coatings - all things that only come with frames costing more than double from high street outlets. My only criticism is that the magnetic clip-ons are a little flimsy. Ease of ordering and reasonable delivery times, considering that many orders are made in Hong Kong, good quality frames and lenses and very reasonable prices mean that Selectspecs will always be my first port of call for glasses in the future.

Excellent at the price.

Positives: compared to the high street & online glasses with clip-ons I've seen these are excellent value for money / they seem to be robustly-made & look okay / polarised clip-ons. Negatives: due to the thickness of the metal outer lens fixings the clip-on sits further away from the lenses than I would like / the low cost shows in hinges which do not allow the arms to be opened wider than your head width when putting on the glasses / the arms are slightly short for my head (check the frame size is right for you)

Nice glasses, shame about the clip-on.

The glasses themselves are fine, but the sunglasses clip-on is almost entirely useless. It pops off if you touch your glasses at all, to push them up your nose or whatever. The problem seems to be that the the sunglasses' curve follows the curve of the lenses, without allowing any space for the frame, which projects slightly out in front of the glass. This makes for a spring-like effect and the sunglasses jump off when they get a chance.

All in all, I wish I'd gone for cheaper glasses without the sunglass attachment, or for photochromic lenses.

Once again lens is thicker than expected but probably my fault as lens selection can be overwhelming when ordering.

Great Rimless Glasses

This model was my second pair of glasses purchased from Selectspecs and by far the better quality. They are very light and comfortable to wear. The build quality is very good with sprung hinges holding the glasses firmly in place. On the down side the heading price is unobtainable as you need to order thicker lens in order to give strength to the rimless construction. However, this taken into account, I have a great pair of rimless glasses with the bonus of the sun-glass attachment which appears to fit firmly and securely. As with the other glasses the lens are exceptionally good quality with no problems with the prescription; the complimentary coatings are ideal give them an expensive look. Again I advise everyone to check, check and check again that they enter their correct prescription as it is very easy to make a mistake. All in all a pair of rimless varifocal glasses for under eighty quid I'm sure they would be about two hundred in normal optician's. Mine took about a month from ordering to being delivered from Hong Kong, I think the delay is due to the bespoke manufacture of the thicker len's.

Nice glasses, shame the clip on is poor quality

The rimless glasses are very nicely styled although the construction was a little amiss with 3 nuts on one side of the bridge fixing and only 2 on the other which does catch the eyes attention. these could also be shortened to not be so noticeable. The clip on sits on the frame unevenly leaving a 2-3mm gap at the top on one side which is not covered by them. plastic on the clip ons is poor with a hazy look near to the edges. another pair has been sent free of charge but as i am going away on holiday these wont be here in time and i'll have to make do with uneven clip ons.
