Lady Gaga Hopes to Turn Fashion Designer

Scandalous and eccentric American pop diva Lady Gaga will stop at nothing to reach her goals.  She received a record number of nominations in a single year at the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 (winning 8 awards from 13 nominations), but even this is not enough for her.

 
Lady Gaga has been looking to extend the range of her activities and start a career as a designer.  The singer said that she will take part in two collections at the same time.

Fashion retailer Forever 21 plans to release a collection of Crime Scene Tape t-shirts to match the half-naked Lady Gaga as seen in her acclaimed video for the hit «Telephone».

Lady Gaga has always caused quite a bit of stir with her unusual and often crazy accessories, the popular singer has been in talks to create her own line of sunglasses for top fashion designer Linda Farrow – one of the “Coolest brands in the UK” (2005).  Taking into consideration Lady Gaga’s passion for such extraordinary style, we can assume that her collection of sunglasses would be somewhat interesting, to say the least.

 
The sunglasses of British designer Linda Farrow are created for fans of '70s disco.  Large, bright, a little pretentious – these glasses were often used in fashion shows with other famous brands such as Emilio Pucci, Guy Laroche, Balenciaga and Sonya Rykiel.

In 2003 Linda Farrow’s son Simon Jablon, using the models of glasses which his mother created almost a half century ago, created the new collection “Linda Farrow Vinatage”.

Lady Gaga’s personality, appearance and style have made her a phenomenon and one of the most successful artists in pop music history.  Her choices in sunglasses, crazy outfits and heels of unprecedented heights have all helped contribute to her eccentricity and ability to shock the audience with her appearance.  It is no wonder that Lady Gaga received the title "Icon of style 2009".

In the video "Bad Romance", Lady Gaga can be seen wearing Carrera "Champion" sunglasses.  With the highly unique and recognizable aviator shape of the "Champion" sunglasses, Lady Gaga's fearlessness and confidence is never in doubt.

It seems that nothing is too far when it comes to her choice of outfit.  These Linda Farrow Disney-inspired Mickey Mouse sunglasses must have attracted the attention of her younger fans.

At time of writing, there is not much information about the cooperation between Lady Gaga and the Linda Farrow brand, however, the singer has gone on record to say that she can not wait to make her own collection, in her own original style within the next year.  We wish her good luck.
