Jenson Button Sunglasses @ 2010 German F1 GP – Gucci GG 1907/S
By James (SelectSpecs) - July 26, 2010 | Celebrity Glasses, Designer Sunglasses | 3 CommentsAnother great Sunday of TV for the petrol heads amongst us this weekend with a controversial F1 race at Germany, probably the best ever episode of Top Gear paying tribute to Ayrton Senna, and an enjoyable MotoGP race from Laguna Seca.

Back to the F1 racing, I couldn’t help but notice the current World Champion Jenson Button was wearing a rather cool pair of thick rimmed Aviator sunglasses (that don’t seem to be the usual Ray-Bans we usually see Jenson wearing) but these are not a pair I...
Lindsay Lohan wears Ray-Ban Clubmaster Sunglasses to Court
By Cathy - July 15, 2010 | Celebrity Glasses, Designer Sunglasses | No Comments
A pair of designer sunglasses has always been a sure-fire way of aspiring to celebrity style if you’re a secretary from Sutton rather than a movie star from the States but you might want to double check you’ve picked the right look. Lindsay Lohan has favoured a pair of Ray-Ban Clubmasters on her recent court appearance to take the long-overdue rap for her out-of-control behaviour. She looked pretty cool on her way in and they were certainly useful to hide the tears as...
Jake Gyllenhaal Sunglasses, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
By James (SelectSpecs) - May 10, 2010 | Designer Sunglasses, Entertainment | No CommentsWell folks, it’s that big summer movie blockbuster time of year again and next on the list to see after Iron Man 2 is Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time staring the seriously buffed up Jake Gyllenhaal and local lass Gemma Arterton who comes from just down the road from us.

Fortunately for us, as this movie is set long before a time when designer sunglasses were seriously cool or even available, it means we can enjoy the film without...
Professor Brian Cox, WTF are you doing to your Sunglasses?
By Chris (SelectSpecs) - March 23, 2010 | Celebrity Glasses, Entertainment | 2 CommentsProf. Brian Cox may be incredibly intelligent, but what is he doing putting his Ray-Ban sunnies down in the sand of the Namib Desert? And if that's not bad enough he then puts them lenses down in the sand where they were no doubt SUBAR (scratched-up beyond all recognition).
Sunglasses from Marvel’s Iron Man 2, starring Robert Downey Jr.
By James (SelectSpecs) - February 5, 2010 | Designer Sunglasses, Entertainment | 41 CommentsLast year, the summer blockbuster that we were really looking forward to seeing had to be Transformers: Revenge of the fallen, not only for the curves of Megan Fox but also for the explosive action director Michael “I like to blow sh*t up” Bay tends to produce. This year, we at SelectSpecs.com are really looking forward to seeing the sequel to the 2008 blockbuster, Iron Man 2, starring Robert Downey Jr. as billionaire weapons inventor Tony Stark / Iron Man, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts,...
Michelle Rodriguez in Aviator Sunglasses from Avatar
By James (SelectSpecs) - January 14, 2010 | Celebrity Glasses, Designer Sunglasses, Entertainment | No Comments![]()
Just before Christmas we at SelectSpecs.com took a trip to the local cinema to see James Cameron’s latest big budget Sci Fi epic, Avatar in 3-D. If there’s a single word I could use to describe this film it would have to be “Awesome!”, it’s an absolute visual masterpiece, and wearing the RealD Polarised glasses (see below) for full glorious 3-D effect, it’s absolutely breathtaking.
My only previous experiences with films featuring 3-D technology is the Terminator 2 3-D ride at Universal Studios in Florida while on...
