In this feature, we will regularly show you both the trendiest and most interesting characters, that are selected by our team. The Ambassadors will get the opportunity to vote for their favourite SelectSpecs frames.
The Ambassadors will also be asked questions so that we can get to know them better!

This is Matthew Lightfoot
We are now introducing you to the new face of SelectSpecs Fashion Ambassador! Matthew was really easy to work with on the shoot! His persona is so welcoming and friendly. Matthew was scouted by our team, within the applications for a Fashion Ambassador!
His story
I am a model and dancer from Leeds but currently based in London. I’ve trained at SLP college in Leeds from 2010 – 2013, and have done fashion shows and flashmobs around the UK performed on the Jonathan Ross show, Lady Gaga’s perfume launch. After graduating college I went straight into employment as a production dancer for QDOS entertainment performing for a 6 month contract on board Celebrity cruises , travelling around Europe, into the Caribbean for 6 months. I am currently coming to the end of my rehearsal period and will be flying to Dubai for a 5 month dance contract at Global Village.

How would other people describe you? Other people would describe me as funny, considerate, entertaining, reliable, good friend and immature.

If you had to eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? I would eat just tuna or strawberries.
If you could be anyone for a day, who would it be and why? I think I would be Justin Bieber for a day, successful rich and touring the world as a performer!
What is the weirdest thing about you? Weirdest thing about me is I have my cereal dry.
What is your fashion taste and where do you like to shop? I’m into Topman, Skinny jeans with really baggy t shirts or jumpers, big shoes or retro sneakers, and vintage clothing… Brick lane and Soho do good vintage clothes!
What product or service do you find ridiculously overpriced? I would say last minute train bookings are too overpriced.
Current celebrity crush? Cara Delivigne!!!!!!
Top three of your favourite movies? My top 3 favourite movies have to be: White Chicks, Bridesmaids and of course Home Alone 1.
What would you say to the person who is reading this right now? I would say hi.
