When heading up Diane von Furstenberg‘s (DVF) new Secret Agent campaign for Fall 2015, rising model Karlie Kloss was called in to fill the role.
And who can blame her? Karlie Kloss has been modelling since the age of 14, working with big name designers like Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana to name a few, is best pals with Taylor Swift and appeared in her star-studded music video for ‘Bad Blood.’
No wonder then, Diane had this to say about her:
Karlie can do anything she puts her mind to. She is a student, an entrepreneur, a sister, a friend. So I am sure she could be a secret agent in real life.
And we know Diane knows who’s who with powerful people, after all she once married a German prince, created one of the biggest fashion brands still surviving today and won the Lifetime Achievement Award granted by the Council of Fashion Designs of America (which she is now president of.)
This isn’t the first time Karlie has modelled eyewear for a big fashion-brand either, this year we also saw her in the Pure Versace Fall 2015 campaign where she was directed by none other then Donatella Versace herself.
So she’s no stranger to the fashion giants and as for Diane, she’s been producing impressive accessories for decades with her range of eyewear already an important segment of her company. The evidence being the latest DVF Secret Agent campaign, of course.

The accent on next season’s collection, for DVF anyway, seems to be focused on mystery and seduction with a touch of class, which wearing sunglasses is definitely known for giving you instant mystique and glamour.
The collection by DVF boast classic colours, that’ll easily transition into future seasons, with incredibly chic shapes and designs, altogether creating shades which would fit perfectly into a spy’s wardrobe. Even if it’s just pretend.
The spy look is definitely an up and coming trend this autumn, with the remake of The Man from U.N.C.L.E and the James Bond Spectre instalment later this year, Diane hasn’t simply plucked this idea from nowhere. But although we still have a bit of a wait before the new Fall collection is in stock, let’s look back on some of DVF’s already acknowledged shades we’ve already got available.
Take the DVF591S for example, having almost the exact same shape as the shades from the newest collection which Karlie wears in the video, they’re slick with high arms to accentuate femininity with a subtle silver chainlink feature and ‘DVF’ embellishment.
With the DVF823S TANYA the elegance and charmed is upped once more, adding edge to an otherwise classic design that never goes out of fashion.
