Quality and Precision spectacles.
Being concerned about how the reading segment would be positioned in relation to my eyes, I was dubious of purchasing bifocal glasses by post. But the result was absolutely spot on, with the reading area of perfect size and placing. The frames are also impressive quality for the price. An excellent purchase that I am planning to repeat as a spare pair!

Highly recommend good for people on low incomes
I had never purchased spectacles online before now so I was nervous about spending too much money as we live on Government benefits and I had broken my glasses and i was not allowed to get a new pair from my local Specsavers. I am glad I found this website and would highly recommend them to ebveryone but especially people on low incomes. I liked the style very much and they fit perfectly and my prescription and Pupil distance was spot on and just as good as all my previous glasses from any opticians and have paid over £100 in the past. Once you want tints and other extras on the lenses then the price can go up quite a bit, but at least your not paying for a expensive frame.

Bargain price for spare pair
The lenses are wide and the deep square sides of the frame emphasise the lens width. My mum who has a large round face looks ok in these but my narrower oblong face does not suit them at all. Also the colours and diamante detail look much more muted than in the photo. Gunmetal looks dark grey, shiny copper looks matte gold. The basic lenses in my mum's high prescription look very thick, another style we ordered in a semi-rimless frame suit the basic lenses much better.
Still, in the sale, these are fine as a spare pair, and were a good way for us to try out select specs at a bargain price. We will be back for more, but will pay more attention to size and shape next time!

Help with frame sizes
Finding the correct frame size to suit you requires you to know a little about the different measurements that are used. Size information is normally broken down in to arm / temple length (ranges between 120 - 150mm), bridge width (ranges between 14 - 24mm, and lens width (ranges between 40 - 62mm). We also include a frame height measurement where possible, this can vary depending on frame style.
If you require further help, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team on 03303 801 190 (Mon - Fri, 9am - 17.30pm) for further assistance.
I already have glasses, how do I find out their size?
If you have a pair of glasses that are a perfect fit, you can usually find the frame size information on the frame - usually on the arm or the bridge.
What to look for?
You will often find a variety of information on the frame, including model number, branding and frame sizing. The numbers you are looking for will be similar to this format 150 - 22 - 50 although this can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. These numbers provide the following information:-
150 - Arm / temple size (in mm), a 3 digit value normally ranging from 120 - 150.
22 - Bridge size (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 14 - 24.
50 - Lens width (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 40 - 62.

We do our best to ensure we stock all available items from all our supplied brands so if an item is not listed it may be out of stock or discontinued. If you do not see the frame size you require please contact us through our Customer Services system where we will try to assist you.
