Great in styling but average overall due to poor quality earsocks
Loved them when first arrived but earsocks have deteriorated after 7 months max.. And they are not easy to replace.. I cannot source locally or via Selectspecs... Definite design/material flaw which is disappointing from Oakley.

Poor quality from Oackley, great price from Select Specs
At first I was delighted with the saving I achieved from selectspecs however as the novelty wore off so did the quality and usability of Oakley Crosslink Switch. The carry case and switchover function (not sturdy) are not an everyday practicality in my experience. I would never chose this facility again. The ear socks have worn badly and the frame paint is degraded so overall they look scruffy. The high street price would have me in tears however I saved 100's buying here so am just disappointed. Otherwise Oakley sunglasses have been previously superb. The wired arms are good and are comfortable and grippy. No idea where to replace my arm sleeves??
Hi, the ear socks do degrade over time as they are exposed to sweat almost constantly. Unfortunately the arm sleeves cannot be replaced, however, the actual arms can be.
Please see here for all Crosslink products including the replacement arms.

Great value frame but poor varifocals lenses
My Oakley glasses came in good time and I'm really pleased with the frames and the style. My only complaint are the varifocal lenses and the distortion levels. I know that varifocals have distortions around the edges, but they are huge on these lenses.
The glasses took a lot of getting use to. You need to look straight ahead to see clearly. A slight movement off this line will blur your vision. This can be a pain when driving as you can't easily look over your shoulder and get a clear image.

Poor rating due to the clear lenses not being as ordered.
The sunglasses lenses seemed to be the prescription that was attached however the clear lenses did not have the same magnification and do not seem to be my prescription as I ordered they just seem to be clear basic lenses but have been unable to organise a possible swap/new lense order. The tinted lenses are perfect but the clear lenses don't seem to be at all and neither are the spare clear lenses as I ordered.
This is correct, the Crosslink Switch comes with a spare lens set, we note this on the product page:
This frame can be glazed with 2 sets of lenses if required* If you require the second set of lenses to be glazed either with your prescription or simply as sunglass lenses, please follow the steps in the Product Information. *additional fee applies to second set of lenses
This lens set is normally shipped unglazed unless a seperate reglaze order is placed. Our order information tells us only the frame with prescription lenses was ordered. We're happy to glaze the 2nd set of lenses for you but you need to place a new reglaze order and return the spare lens set to us.
Hope this helps. SelectSpecs.com

Oakley CROSSLINK SWITCH
Having now looked at the other frames available i think that i could have purchased as good as but a lot cheaper. Quality is very poor. I regret my purchase.
Style & quality its a pity that I only got one of the two
Hi, sorry to hear this, can you explain why the quality was poor and why you regret your purchase, this is not clear. If there's a problem with the frames, please contact us and we can help resolve this for you.

What do the Numbers Mean?
All measurements are taken in mm with the arm length rounded to the nearest 5mm.
The Arm Length
This number represents the arm length of the glasses or sunglasses. The arm length is measured from the dowel point (the hinge area) to the extreme end of the side, this is made up of the length to the bend and the length of the drop to give the overall length of side.
The Bridge Width
This number represents the bridge width of the glasses or sunglasses. The bridge width is the minimum horizontal distance between the nasal surfaces of the rims on a plastic or metal frame, or the minimum horizontal distance between the nasal surfaces of the lenses in rimless frames.
The Lens Width
This number represents the lens width of the glasses or sunglasses. The lens width is the distance between the vertical sides of a rectangle containing the lens shape. On some occasions for Sunglasses with a single 'sheild/visor' style lens, we will enter the width as 0 or 99.
The Frame Height
This number represents the Frame height of the glasses or sunglasses. The Frame height is the distance between the top and bottom sides of a rectangle containing the lens shape. If we do not have this measurement stored then this measurement will not be displayed
How do I Know What Size Is Best?
If you are not sure what measurement is best for you, take a look at your current pair of glasses or sunglasses, these will have a measurement on the arm or on the bridge in a format like 135 - 15 - 48 although this can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The below image is a good example of how frame dimensions are clearly identified.
