Legendary and solid glasses
These glasses are legendary. I’ve got them as sunglasses as well and when I saw that it was, and for a low price, possible to get them as normal glasses too, I just had to get them. It took two weeks before they arrived. The packet they came in was solid and the glasses laid in an original Wayfarer case (it is also stamped Ray Ban and Wayfarer into the case). The prescription I ordered them with was correct. To were these glasses is kind of funny since they’re normally sunglasses, but they look cool and I feel cool too :P

do your research..
I've owned a pair of original wayfarer sunglasses in dark havana for 3 or 4 years - they're a great pair of glasses, fit well, comfortable, look good, feel robust. So when I got a new glasses prescription, I decided it'd be no-brainer to order the identical item as optical glasses and risk-free to order online as I already know the frames well.
However, when these glasses arrived from selectspecs, there are notable differences - the frames are slightly smaller and the colour is noticeably darker. I double-checked my order online against my original wayfarer sunglasses and it's accurate, as well as being accurate to the glasses received however they are different. Had I known this, I wouldn't have ordered the glasses as the minor differences in size and colour really make a difference to how well they suit my face.
Overall I'm quite disappointed, not with the quality of the product or service from selectspecs, just with the accuracy of the specifics of the glasses (actual dimensions and colour against those listed online). I guess there's a tough lesson there for me about forsaking the highstreet and the risks associated with ordering online.
Hi, thanks for the review. There are 2 sizes available for this model, are you sure you ordered the same size as previously? We're unaware of any changes of sizing from Ray-Ban.

Original Ray Ban Wayfarers with prescription lenses
These took a while to come but were worth waiting for. Original Wayfarers with dark polarised lenses, spot on. Only noticeable difference is that the tiny Ray-Ban logo is missing from the prescription lens. Complete frames and lenses delivered to your door for less than you would pay for the standard sun specs in a department store.
Hi, Ray-Ban optical frames do not come with the small RB logo on the lens, this only applies to non-prescription Ray-Ban sunglasses.

From the picture, I was not aware that the style of the frames were at an angle. Therefore when I received the glasses, I was shocked to find that they were styled in that manner. I still am in the process of trying to receive a refund for the frames, to which selectspecs refuses to provide a FULL refund for the ordeal even though the picture that they advertise for the frames does not clearly show the frames being at an angle.
Hi, sorry to hear this. The RX5121 Wayfarer are styled in this manner, it's the design of the frame and not a defect. We cannot provide a full refund for this product as there's no defect with the frame or lenses.
We always advise customers to try on frames at a local optician where possible, to get an idea of what frame style is suitable for their needs.

What do the Numbers Mean?
All measurements are taken in mm with the arm length rounded to the nearest 5mm.
The Arm Length
This number represents the arm length of the glasses or sunglasses. The arm length is measured from the dowel point (the hinge area) to the extreme end of the side, this is made up of the length to the bend and the length of the drop to give the overall length of side.
The Bridge Width
This number represents the bridge width of the glasses or sunglasses. The bridge width is the minimum horizontal distance between the nasal surfaces of the rims on a plastic or metal frame, or the minimum horizontal distance between the nasal surfaces of the lenses in rimless frames.
The Lens Width
This number represents the lens width of the glasses or sunglasses. The lens width is the distance between the vertical sides of a rectangle containing the lens shape. On some occasions for Sunglasses with a single 'sheild/visor' style lens, we will enter the width as 0 or 99.
The Frame Height
This number represents the Frame height of the glasses or sunglasses. The Frame height is the distance between the top and bottom sides of a rectangle containing the lens shape. If we do not have this measurement stored then this measurement will not be displayed
How do I Know What Size Is Best?
If you are not sure what measurement is best for you, take a look at your current pair of glasses or sunglasses, these will have a measurement on the arm or on the bridge in a format like 135 - 15 - 48 although this can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The below image is a good example of how frame dimensions are clearly identified.
