Re-glaze / Lens Replacement Service
A re-glaze is the fitting of new lenses to your existing frame. You may wish to use this service if...
» you have had your Prescription updated and you wish to keep your current frame.
» your lenses are scratched or damaged and you wish to replace them.
» you wish to replace your current lenses with a different type of lens.
» you purchase a new frame elsewhere and would like us to fit your lenses.
Just select the type of frame you wish to have Re-Glazed, as the price will be reflected by this. Then enter your prescription, choose your lenses and enter the required details. You will be emailed a confirmation order after you have made payment. We advise you to print a copy of your order and send this with your spectacles to the address shown in your order.
Please send your glasses by secure service as we cannot be held responsible for glasses lost in shipping. Glasses are re-glazed at your own risk.
Single or Double Row Format?Please have a look at your prescription, you will need to establish if your prescription has been written in Single Row Format or Double Row Format, please see the images below for an example. If your prescription has a reading ADD you will need to select Single Row Format and proceed as normal. If your prescription does not show a reading ADD and lists both Distance vision and Near vision separately on two rows, your prescription has been written in a Double Row Format. You should then enter all the details as you see them on your prescription and proceed as normal. If you are unsure you can attach a copy of your prescription to your order, you may also fax or send this to us in the post. |
