Crikey!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For $4000 (or approximately \u00a32400 at today&#8217;s exchange rate) you could buy the World&#8217;s Cheapest Car, the <strong>Tato Nano<\/strong>, for less than \u00a31500, a <strong>Rolex Submariner 14060M<\/strong> watch for \u00a32300, or a luxury week away for 2 in Italy.\u00a0 Alternatively, you could spend the lot on a pair of ultra limited edition <strong>Oakley Elite C Six Sunglasses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1120 aligncenter\" title=\"Oakley - Elite C Six\" alt=\"Oakley - Elite C Six\" src=\"https:\/\/www.selectspecs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/oakley.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"430\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Oakley claim that this collection of sunglasses are \u201cthe most technically innovative sunglasses ever created\u201d with each pair of sunglasses requiring over 90 hours of machine manufacture time with 80 layers of pure carbon fibre &amp; aluminum pressed into the frame allowing a flexible design for comfort.\u00a0 According to Oakley inspiration for this line of sunglasses has come from technology in the auto racing industry <em>\u201cWe were looking at cams that move valves,\u201d said Global Eyewear Development Manager Steve Ogren. \u201cThat\u2019s when we came up with the concept of radial cams for the frame mechanics.\u201d The connection to racecars didn\u2019t stop there. \u201cSome of the contours of <span class=\"caps\">C SIX<\/span> take cues from speed machines,\u201d said Oakley President Colin Baden. \u201cWhen we decided to use carbon fiber, we went to the guys who have been building Formula One race cars for decades, Crosby Composites of England.
