\"Tennis\" Well, the 123rd Wimbledon Tennis Championships<\/strong> is over for another year and what a way to end it with an epic battle between Andy Roddick<\/strong> and Roger Federer<\/strong> with Federer finally beating the big serving American 5-7 7-6 (8-6) 7-6 (7-5) 3-6 16-14<\/strong> in a grueling four hours and 16 minutes<\/strong> to claim his sixth Wimbledon crown and to also record his 15th Grand Slam<\/strong> title overhauling the total set by Pete Sampras who was in the Royal Box along with fellow legends Bjorn Borg and Rod Laver. Unfortunately, it was not the final many of us Brits had hoped for with many fans and supporters hoping to see a big final showdown between Andy Murray<\/strong> and Roger Federer<\/strong>.\u00a0 Andy Murray who progressed well could only make it as far as the Semi-Finals where he was beaten in 4 sets by Andy Roddick. With the weather being absolutely superb for the 2009 championships, the usual umbrella and raincoat attire were replaced by suncream, hat’s and sunglasses to offer protection against the blazing British summer sun, and of course, the superb weather gave us the perfect oppurtunity to check out what sunglasses some of the WAGs (Wives and Girlfriends) were wearing while supporting their men.<\/p>\n

Kim Sears<\/h2>\n

\"Andy Andy Murray’s girlfriend and daughter of Nigel Sears who coached Daniela Hantuchova at WTA level,\u00a0has been by Andy’s side throughout the tournament.\u00a0 Kim has been wearing Ray-ban Aviator 3025s<\/strong> during Wimbledon but also wore Ray-ban Wayfarer’s<\/strong> during the Queens tournament before this years Wimbledon Championships.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn Decker<\/h2>\n

\"Andy Andy Roddick’s Wife Brooklyn Decker<\/strong>, best known for her appearances in Sports Illustrated modeling swimsuits, has also been wearing the Ray-ban Aviator 3025s<\/strong> during the tournament.\u00a0 This frame style is just so popular right now with many fans also adopting this great style.<\/p>\n

Sara Foster<\/h2>\n

\"Tommy Tommy Haas’ girlfriend and 90210<\/strong> actress, Sarah Foster<\/strong>, has been wearing the VE2086 Rimless “Sheild” style frame by Versace <\/strong>while watching her man progress to the Wimbledon Semi Finals against Roger Federer.<\/p>\n

Bec (Cartwright) Hewitt<\/h2>\n

\"Lleyton Lleyton Hewitt’s wife and ex Home & Away actress Bec Hewitt <\/strong>(AKA Bec Cartwright) wears various styles of sunglasses including what we initially thought to be Versace VE4114 on the left, however one very helpful blog reader has identified these to be Tom Ford Jennifer FT0008<\/strong> Sunglasses (thanks to Bec Russ).<\/p>\n

Mirka Federer<\/h2>\n
