    Handy to order once you know how

    They were very easy to order. It just required entering details from the prescription. However...I should have checked the fit as they sit a bit high on the bridge of my nose otherwise they would be perfect.

    Great cycling glasses for the price.

    I am really happy with these, I bought them for road and mtb cycling with grey photochromic super thin lenses and cost me £66. They are slightly smaller than a full Oakley cycling specific cycling sunglass as these are technically reading glasses. My only gripe is the rubber on the arms is stiff and not tacky like Oakley rubber but for what I paid I’m ok with that. I may try and bodge some Oakley ear sleeves on at some point as I’d like them to stick a little better. I have bought some gecko nose pads which help a little but I’d guess at the height of summer on a sweaty ride they’d perhaps not stick to the face/ears very well. Overall super happy, prescription lenses in oakleys would have cost me £350+

    Superb Cycling Glasses

    I have looked for some time to get a pair of prescription glasses as I am a keen cyclist and no longer wish to wear contacts as they tend to irritate my eyes when the wind gets in them. I approached my optician for some advice and I was told that I would need specialist attention.!!! However, I purchased these from Selectspecs, in hope more than expectation, that they would be OK. Imagine my surprise when they arrived. Superb, both in fit and clarity of vision. I would recommend these to anyone. 5 stars.

    Great value for money

    I've previously bought a couple of pairs of glasses from Selectspecs for road cycling purposes and have so far been mostly satisfied, and these also do not disappoint. There are a couple of niggles though; firstly as mentioned by other reviewers the small black tips tend to fall off, although a couple of dabs of super glue have resolved this for me. Secondly, when looking to the extreme left or right objects tend to look a bit fuzzy, I don't know if it is due to the wraparound nature of the lenses or the fact that I went for the basic 'thick' lenses to keep the cost down ( I tend to lose or break glasses quite frequently!), slightly annoying as I have to turn my head further to see clearly but not a deal breaker, especially at this cost. Also due to the straight arms the glasses tended to shift around but I have bought some small silicon hooks that attach to the arms which now hold the glasses very firmly and this is no longer an issue. So overall although there are a couple of minor issues I'm very satisfied with my purchase, so much so that I'm probably going to buy another pair in a grey tint (these ones were clear). Also if you search around you will see that these glasses are very similar to those by the big 'O' manufacturer but at about a quarter of the cost ... what's not to like!

    They just don't work

    I ordered a hugely expensive pair of these with tinted polarised varifocal elite lenses to the same saved prescription which works fine in several other pairs I have had from Selectspecs and sadly they just don't work. When riding my bike or walking I only see blurs, whereas my Aero 2057 with the same prescription are perfect. So they have sat unused for 18 months and have proved a very costly mistake.
