    You Get What You Pay For

    Unfortunately I was rather disappointed by this product. The timescale - although I was pre-advised of this - is rather long. But the main thing is that the varifocal lenses seem to be uneven. Unlike my previous varifocals, to read small print seems to require focus through a very small area of each lens. I find myself having to adjust to find the right angle, and then fix my head in that position to avoid losing focus in one eye. The plastic temple tips are too long for me, and they move. So I am constantly having to push the glasses up my nose. Very annoying. So I still find myself using my old framed glasses most of the time, and I'm just using these for work and public appearances! Not what I was hoping. I can't complain about the price, but next time I will probably not buy my varifocals on the internet.

    Another great buy from selectspecs

    I'm again delighted with my new glasses. They are exactly what I wanted at a fraction of the price in a couple of the large opticians. I chose these glasses after looking at the measurements, but they are perfect. If I could make one criticism it is that my previous, similar glasses snapped after a couple of years, sooner that I expected. The metal used in making the frames can only be opened and closed so many times I guess. But I have paid a very good price so I'm happy.
