Why use MIRA?

Mira Measure is different from other PD measuring applications, with our technology there is absolutely no need for a scaling device. Our sophisticated algorithms calculate your pupillary distance measurements by taking a 3D scan of your face and eyes and deliver to SelectSpecs, all key details needed to make your perfect glasses.

Key benefits

  • We measure your Pupillary Distance with MILLIMETRE ACCURACY.
  • Our app is VERIFIED BY OPTICIANS, giving you total confidence in our optical data.
  • There is NO NEED FOR SCALING DEVICES. By using only a mobile device and a mirror we are able to accurately measure your PD.
  • In a SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE process, our app guides you through the steps needed to take your personal measurements.

FAQs

Why do I need to stand in front of a mirror?

A mirror helps us create the 3D image from which to make calculations. In this way we remove the need for scaling devices and rely on algorithms based on your exact facial measurements.

What size should the mirror be?

The mirror should be roughly half-length. You don’t need to stand around with a tape measure checking the size, but we do recommend that you are able to see the top half of your body in it.

Can I use this app on any device?

This application is currently supported by Apple iOS (iPhone & iPad) and Android devices.
