10 Activities You Must Do This Summer

There are so many different activities you can do during the long, hazy days of summer. You want to make the most of the fab weather and all those events before the chill picks up and the nights draw in.

We have compiled together some activities for summer you simply need to do.

If you only do a handful of things this season, make sure these are on the list!

Which have you done already?

1. Eat a Watermelon

There’s nothing more summery than a wedge of watermelon.

Eat it as it is, or get experimental and make a watermelon mojito or some watermelon sorbet.

You can also chop some watermelon up and have it on a salad with some goat cheese, lettuce and parma ham. Yum.

2. Go To a Festival or Concert

There are so many different festivals and concerts going on this summer.

Although some of the big festivals such as Glastonbury have passed, there are many others coming soon.

Take a look locally to see if there are concerts close to you too – you may be surprised at what’s going on.

There’s no better way to spend a summer’s day or evening in the open air, listening to music and being with your friends.

Get the funky festival look above with the Kate Spade LAMONICA/S.

These gorgeous round retro sunglasses feature pink tinted lenses and pink frames – so pretty and unique.

3. Have a BBQ

Another summer must – it is time to dig out the BBQ, dust it off, and create some culinary genius.

Whether you want to stick to the usual bangers and burgers or cook something a little more exotic, there is nothing more summery than a good old BBQ.

4. Get in The Water

Whether it is a swimming pool, the sea or a paddling pool, you need to get in the water at some point this summer.

There’s no better way to cool off than having a good swim or a paddle.

If you’re not a massive fan of swimming, stick to the inflatables, pedalos or kayaks.

5. Eat an Ice Cream

Too pretty to eat… almost 😉🍦#Florence #Italy

There’s nothing much to say here really.

Just eat an ice cream.

6. Go To a Fun Fair or Theme Park

There are so many pop-up fun fairs at this time of year, so make a bee-line for one.

Most theme parks only open during the summer season too, so make the most it.

Time to grab your mates, some candy floss, and some ride pics.

7. Cycle

I'll give it ⭐️ out of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ biking up the mountain, but the graphics were awesome!🏔💯

Getting on a bicycle is such a good way to see the world and get out in the fresh air.

Whether it’s road cycling, mountain biking, or a casual pedal along the river, enjoy the freedom of being on two wheels at some point.

8. Inject Some Colour Into Your Wardrobe

Paint your nails, wear a bright lip colour, or simply hold a bright clutch bag.

In the summer months, anything goes when it comes to colour.

9. Watch a Sunset

Grab your other half, head somewhere scenic and watch the sunset whilst sipping a glass of wine.

10. Picnic

Pack up your favourite food, drinks and head to a beautiful spot.

Eat until you’re full.
