First Look at the Burberry SS16 Eyewear Campaign


Burberry has been the talk of the eyewear world ever since Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne joined long time supermodel veteran Naomi Campbell on the glossy sunglasses and prescription eyewear campaigns for 2014 and 2015.

Now we’re excited to share some of the new Burberry eyewear campaign that has just landed in time for all the upcoming summer occasions; including beach getaways and party holidays to weekend city breaks, festivals and casual everyday styling.

Here are some brand new Burberry women’s sunglasses that have landed in May 2016, including key looks which speak volumes about the luxury brand, its history and your own discerning sense of fashion.

The Check Collection

The aviator frame has become such an iconic piece of fashion; it’s a must-have for every kind of wardrobe and no matter what your style personality, there’s always room for at least one pair of aviator sunglasses.

Today, the aviator is a classic look that is effortless and timeless. The main and original brand is of course, Bausch & Lomb’s Ray-Ban but Burberry’s Check collection are becoming a main contender.

The Check Collection also features other frame styles, all of which have the iconic Burberry check along the temple arms, as modelled by Pierce Brosnan’s son Dylan above.

The Trench Collection

What springs to mind when you think of Burberry?  That famous check pattern, which hasn’t been amiss from their eyewear as we’ve just explained, but what about the iconic trench coat?

The new trench collection is a classic in the making. Designed for hardcore Burberry fans who adore the classic Burberry trench, this unique range of all season eyewear features the famous Burberry pattern for that perfect high-fashion touch.

As featured in some of last year’s collection, the feature is crafted through a specialist process the same as fine jewellery to recreate the draped or twisted characteristics of the fabric.

The 2015-2016 Burberry eyewear campaign features a lot of iconic styles that have been tried and tested in decades passed and there’s a big spin on the 60s retro look. This means that there are a lot of oversized pieces plus a generous application of acetate around the frame front and temples.

If you want to get that 1960s retro Burberry look, the Regent Collection has been designed for you.  A new collection added this year and inspired by their global flagship store, team a trench coat or summer mac with some go-go inspired knee high boots and rock a pair of oversized sunnies.

The Prorsum Collection
