The Best Sunglasses for Oblong Faces

Before you start trying on zillions of frames, it’s better to take some time to find out what shape your face is first. After all, buying a pair of sunglasses is a bit like shopping for a pair of jeans; not every style is going to suit your shape, but once you know what works for you, it’s all easy from there!

Today, I’m going to look at which frame styles are recommended for those of you with an oblong face shape and I will feature some of the trendiest sunglasses this year.

Who has an oblong face shape?

Gisele Bundchen, Liv Tyler and Kelly Rowland.

Let me remind you that an oblong shaped face is longer than it is wide. It has angular features with high cheekbones and a tall forehead. If this sounds like your face, round glasses and big frames are recommended for you and this year there are some amazing models which will be great for you. Larger wayfarer or rectangular sunglasses with thick frames suit a long face, but avoid going for small frames.
