The Lace Up Trend dominated the runaway last spring and it shows no sign of slowing down as it is currently all over the high street. From tops to shoes, skirts to accessories, lace ups are dominating the shelves.
Definitely a trend well worth investing in right now. It will be a hot number to wear throughout Summer AND will transition nicely into the Autumn / Winter season. We like it when we get more bang for our bucks!
If you’re looking for a way to wear the trend, but you’re not exactly sure how to, then we’ve got you covered.
Take a look at the all the different items we’ve picked out to get your creative juices and ideas flowing for nailing the look.
The Denim Jacket
We’re not sure if you’ve noticed, but denim jackets are all the rage right now. Everyone who is anyone is wearing them.
From oversized to the more fitted style, we’ve found a fantastic way to combine the two hottest trends together.
This denim jacket here has the lace up detailing, which adds a little extra something to a simple jacket. A great way to tap into not one, but two trends.
Bodysuits are super sexy because they allow you to show off your fine figure.
If you want to take it to the next level, why not choose a bodysuit with some lace detailing? It will allow you to show off some extra skin, but will seem contained rather than ‘all out there’ because of lace detailing. A perfect date night outfit!
We love lace detailing because it’s a trend that seems to allow you to combine other trends too.
For example, band tees are taking over the high street by storm. However, we’ve seen a slight twist to them with the added lace detailing, taking a simple t-shirt to a whole other level.
If you’re a jeans sorta girl (and let’s be honest, who isn’t?) then check these jeans out.
Lace Up Jeans are a thing and they’re gorgeous. What’s great about these is that at different angles, the lace up will slightly open to add a sexy side while allowing others to have a glimpse of your legs.
A subtle way to show some skin without being too out there. Perfect for this time of year when it’s not too hot and not too cold.
If you don’t think you’re bold enough to wear the lace up trend, then think again.
Here, we’ve found the most subtle way to pay homage to the trend. As seen on one of our favourite pairs of sunglasses by Tiffany & Co, the arm of the sunglasses have the criss-crossing, sorta lace up detail.
It not only makes you bang on trend, but also is a unique touch for a pair of sunglasses. Two for the price of one.
