Spring is here, which means it’s time to spruce up your wardrobe. Fold away those woolly jumpers and break out those new, climate appropriate outfits.
A new season brings new styles, new trends and new looks. A shopping spree is definitely in order – (as if we need any excuses to go shopping!)
If you’re unsure about what’s in and what’s soooo last season, then don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!
Here is a collection of Spring Trends as worn by some of the hottest celebrities today.
Classic White Tops
We’ve all heard about the LBD (Little Black Dress) but this season, it’s all about the CWS (Classic White Shirt).
White Shirts are a great staple to have in your wardrobe. The monochrome colour means that it will go with pretty much anything, be it blue jeans, a leather skirt or black skinnies.
They’re a versatile piece, easy for a Girl’s Night Out, a smart corporate look with tailored pants, or dressing down with a few layers and flat shoes. Here’s the gorgeous Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wearing a CWS!
Oversized Denim Jacket
Denim is a material that suits everyone.
We don’t know about you, but we’ve spotted a whole lot of denim on high street.
From dungarees, button up skirts to shirts, our favourite has to be the oversized denim jacket.
A few years ago, it was all about getting a denim jacket that was well fitted, but now, it’s all about the oversized. The bigger, the better. An oversized denim jacket is perfect for layering in the springtime if temperatures drop at night.
Denim makes an outfit look more put together while adding a laid back “didn’t-even-try” vibe. Our favourite ex Made In Chelsea star, Lucy Watson, shows us how it’s done in denim.
Florals never seem to go out of fashion.
Every year when Spring/Summer trends are revealed, floral fabrics always make the cut.
Whether you’re looking for a pair of trousers, a fancy top or brand new shoes, you can tap into this trend via a handful of high street stores to accommodate to your springtime needs.
The cover star of this month’s Vogue is none other than Selena Gomez, who shows us how to wear Florals sexily, as a bustier.
Band Tees have caused a lot of debate in the past. Musical fans commonly protest it’s almost disrespectful to wear a band tee when you don’t even know the band or listen to any of their songs.
However, this style is all over the high street, and there seems to be no sign of it slowing down.
Band Tees are a great way to look like you’ve made a lot of effort, without having to actually put in the effort. A band tee with black skinny jeans and a leather jacket makes you look instantly put together. Jesy Nelson from Little Mix is a huge fan of this trend as seen in her Instagram.
Coloured Lens Frames
Last summer, it was all about the mirrored sunglasses.
However, this season, it’s more about seeing your eyes rather than keeping them hidden. Coloured lenses are back and this time, they’re actually considered fashionable!
They’re a great way to add quirky style to an outfit. If they’re good enough for supermodel Gigi Hadid, they’re good enough for us!
The INVU T2505 – Trend Collection sunglasses are a great way to try the trend. The frames suit most face shapes in a pretty royal purple.
