2. Brockwell Lido, South London
Located in Brockwell Park, South London, the Brockwell Lido was founded in 1937.
It’s now a Grade II listed building, and its Art deco decor will take you right back.
Alongside the pool, there’s plenty of other activities on offer if you just fancy a quick paddle.
Go for a workout in the gym or enjoy the luxurious hydrotherapy facilities.
It’s run as a charity, so rest assured that your visit will ensure that future generations will also get to enjoy the unique lido experience.
3. Jubilee Pool, Penzance
The Jubilee Pool in Penzance is a little bit different and whole lot lush.
It offers the chance to swim in fresh sea water in an safe, enclosed area, all surround by fab Art Deco styling.
There are lots of events going on in the pool over the summer, and occasional late openings to make the most of the seasonal sun.
And of course, once you’re done there’s the whole of Cornwall to explore!
4. Hampstead Heath Ladies’ Pond, London
Another curveball, Number 4 on our list isn’t a pool per se.
As you might guess from the name, it’s an adapted pond — actually it’s a collection of them, but this ladies only locale ticks our boxes.
Get away from the hubub of city life with a quick dip in this idyll and you’ll surely feel instantly reset.

5. Thermae Pool, Bath
Looking for something a little upmarket?
