Fresh air – that’s what a spring getaway means to me. Light clothes, light colors, and a light heart. I have a few favorite places when it comes to a long weekend getaway: for example the huge handicraft markets in Vienna for a romantic mini-vacation, a mysterious feast next to the azure sea in Corfu or a hiking fun in the snowy mountains of Sweden.

Window shopping wanderers have taken off their winter coats. The Schanigartens. Open terraces in front of the cafes and restaurants are re-opened.
And Vienna’s favourite summer drink, the Aperol Spritzer, with its characteristic orange flavor has appeared again in the hands of locals and travelers alike.
Markets are a must see in Vienna, as they are full of energy, sunshine and joy.
The Easter market at the Palace of Schönbrunn is known as the most romantic one in the whole world. There are 60 exhibitors in front of the royal palace offering culinary pleasures, handmade Easter eggs, and pieces of Austrian folk art. You can enjoy some jazz while the kids are busy making marzipan rabbits and chicks or hunting for eggs in the Children Museum.
For the dress code, choose business casual. Think dressy trousers, a skirt with a silk twinset, a sundress with a lacy cardigan and casual heels. Or wear your most elegant dresses, skirts and blouses. Vienna is a city where you can never be overdressed.
For sunnies, dare to be extravagant. When if not now? And where if not here?
Grab these golden sunglasses by Fendi and feel how extra you are.
A beautiful & tropic island in Greece, think beaches, poolside, sun, salt & sea.
Dress code: select most tropical wear, dress in a respectful manner. Choose a dress with hemlines that are knee-length or longer and avoid low-cut shirts. Cover your shoulders if wearing a sleeveless dress, and avoid jeans!
Sunnies: please, don’t misbehave. These classy sunglasses by Chopard will assist in refined style.
In spring, people tend to travel outside the cities to those incredible summer houses surrounded by the most spectacular landscape. While the North is still in the last skiing holiday, in the South birch trees are just unfolding their buds, and both kids and adults are happily supping the first warming rays of the sun.
Swedish people miss the opportunity of having a good meal – tables are crammed by fish, fish and fish (and a little more fish – pickled herring, salmon, dill, and a little bit of caviar here and there) and some lamb. And some snaps.
Dress code: have fun and enjoy yourself: chic casual style would perfectly fit the occasion. Jeans, a silky chiffon blouse to be more festive and a great jacket with flat heels make the look of a super-relaxed yet effortlessly elegant outfit.
