Though he\u2019s been rapping since the age of 6 recreationally, he came to the limelight at the age of 13 as Kid Gangsta. Following a performance in Los Angeles, he caught the attention of Snoop Dogg and became known as Lil\u2019 Bow Wow.<\/p>\n

In 2000, he released his studio album \u2018Beware of Dog’. The album became certified double platinum on March 5, 2001. <\/span><\/p>\n

Shad dropped \u2018Lil\u2019\u2019 from his stage name and became known as Bow Wow. Presently he\u2019s known as Shad Moss in an attempt to rebrand himself as he diversifies his career.<\/span><\/p>\n

He made his acting debut in 2002 when he appeared in the film called Like Mike. He played the role of a young orphan who was given a chance to play in the NBA. <\/span><\/p>\n
