Pride parades are an important part of culture in the 21st century, helping to make sure that everyone is accepted in any community around the world regardless of their sexuality.<\/p>\n

During a parade, live music is usually played during the event and everyone gets dressed up in multi-coloured outfits to represent the colours of the LGBT flag.<\/p>\n

They are usually held over a weekend period in different cities internationally.<\/p>\n

In Britain, they are most notably held in the summer months in locations such as London, Birmingham and Manchester.<\/p>\n

Last weekend, the city of Brighton held their yearly Pride parade.<\/p>\n

American pop star Britney Spears<\/strong> performed during the weekend, as well as Pixie Lott<\/strong> and Ella Eyre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
