Sure, the general audience would interpret seeing life through rose-coloured glasses\u00a0as a way of looking at a situation and thinking it to be more positive\u00a0than it is in reality and we are told to\u00a0take off the rose-coloured glasses and confront real life.<\/p>\n
But again, let’s be honest for a second, why are we told to take them off? Why is a positive opinion about something\u00a0taken as a distorted\u00a0attitude to the reality of the situation? Besides,\u00a0isn’t reality a rather objective view and what’s red for you might be rose for me?<\/p>\n
I believe this saying needs a total make over.<\/p>\n
It is time to accept changes in life without having to remove the rose-tinted glasses, because it is the positive attitude that aspires us to dare stepping into the changes, and it is this attitude that accompanies us through the undesirable feelings.<\/p>\n
If you are the kind of person that favours\u00a0to see life through rose-tinted glasses because it makes you feel at ease with yourself, then do it. Anxiety comes from denying who you are and your personal needs. So stop being\u00a0afraid.<\/p>\n
It is a brave act to opt for\u00a0the rose-coloured view because many people are afraid that they might be disappointed by their own expectations.<\/p>\n
In staying honest with\u00a0your own thoughts and not letting any outside social interactions influence you, you become more confident with your choices and you reassure yourself \u00a0that can trust your own gut.<\/p>\n

Expectations eventually become an obsolete and extra part of the learning process.<\/p>\n

Mentally strong people are not afraid of rose-coloured spectacles and accept their emotions, their thoughts and know\u00a0how to act\u00a0towards themselves. This includes interactions with other people.<\/p>\n
But most importantly, they are aware of beauty and darkness\u00a0at the same time.<\/p>\n
