    Great specs, wish I had gone for thin lenses

    A short while back I had my eyes tested and subsequently bought a pair of varifocals from the optician, total cost, around £350. Whilst I've gotten used to them I still found it annoying that your vision 'blurs' at the edges when you turn your head and I also have to look down if I want to read something. So, rather than spending another £350, or more, for two pairs of specs from the optician I came to selectspecs on recommendation of a friend. I bought a pair of long vision specs for driving (£35) and a more 'designer' frame for a pair of reading glasses (51). The reading glasses frames are almost identical to the expensive varifocal glasses I have and are great. The only thing I wished I had done was opt for the thin lenses as it would have made the pair so much better, cosmetically, but that's my fault, and at this price I can do that if I want and still be quids in, and you can never have too many pairs of reading glasses can you. I highly recommend selectspecs.

    Good quality glasses at a good price, despite my unusual prescription

    Nice frames and high quality lenses. My prescription excludes me from the very low cost but the cost was still a fraction of what I have paid in the past from high street brands. i would recommend the service too. The glasses arrived before the target date. Overall a good experience.
