I bought these to replace a similar pair that broke. I went for a cheap pair, because it was my first time buying from selectspecs. Well, the glasses are pretty good. They look good and I can't complain much considering the price. The only downside is that they feel a bit cheap (they are). The arms flex quite a lot and they don't feel solid. However, I now like the flexible arms, because they are less likely to break (like my old glasses) and everything is fine once you're wearing them. The only thing I'd change is the position of the lenses, because these glasses sit quite high, and further from my eyes than I'm used to. I couldn't see how this could be adjusted - I don't think it can. They work fine, though.
However, after 6 weeks the right nose pad has broken, and I only wear glasses once per week! It's snapped off between the small screw and the pad, so I can't wear them anymore. I didn't notice it happen, but can only guess than it had split and just fell off. I've never had a nose pad break before. It shouldn't be difficult to find replacement pads, but it's not something I'd expect to replace so soon.

For the last 7 years I've been getting my glasses from Tesco optitions. Whilst their service is excellent, I made the assumption that I would be getting value for money.
I recently received my latest glasses from Select Specs and was absolutely delighted with glasses almost identical to ones I'd had my eye on in Tesco. They ended up costing me a THIRD OF THE PRICE! Brilliant!
