I ordered two pairs of different styles on 21st May and the cheaper pair arrived in 8 days. This pair of half rimmed glasses with optional polycarbonate lenses took six days longer to arrive. The frames are as expected and hoped for especially as they are very light. There is a small gap between the top rim and the lenses but I'm not losing sleep over this. My first time with the extra-cost polycarbonate lenses which I wanted for 100% UV protection and better chip-resistance. Probably won't go for polycarbonate again as I'm seeing some colour fringing in my peripheral vision (not visible with my old glasses), which is a known issue with polycarbonate. However, in general thanks to my new prescription there is a marked improvement in my vision compared to the glasses these replace, so I'm happy. The value for money is very good - under £65 for two pairs even though I went for a higher cost lens option on one pair and both have anti-reflection coatings, which would have cost £60 (2x£30) alone as options for glasses through my high street opticians.
Update: unfortunately it looks like my choice of extra cost polycarbonate lenses was a mistake as the vision quality is much worse than my cheaper intermediate vision glasses with the standard free lenses. I have only just found an FAQ on polycarbonate lenses on the website here and would not have ordered them if I had read that. It advises time to adjust to them but the longer I am wearing these glasses the more frustrating I am finding it. I have emailed the support dept. and am hoping we can come to an agreeable solution (i.e. replacement of lenses to a different type, somehow). It's a shame because the frames are excellent. I still trust in the service here and coincidentally have ordered a third pair of glasses (for prescription sunglass tints) just today - but I have ordered the standard lenses!

I have used Selectspecs for many years, and have always been happy with the price, quality and service. However, I feel the quality of the product on this offer leaves a lot to be desired. The legs were so stiff they were nearly impossible to open or close, the nose pieces were completely bent back. In my opinion, no quality check had been carried out prior to shipping or these issues would have been picked up.

First time purchasing specs on the net, pleasantly surprised, slight delay with order delivery but customer care provided me with a free set of spectacles within 5 working days to put me on. My order of rimless specs eventually arrived and are perfect, I am extremely impressed with this company and the customer care team are second to non. I am a customer for life!!!!!!!!!!!
