This pair is excellent. It was a little loose on me a first but it doesn't fall off when I bend over as it did at first; maybe my head has grown!
The design and quality is very good and they have been through a lot: many drops and kids pulling them but have still lasted. Definitely can't complain for the price. If the grip was better they would be perfect!

I have had these since July 2013, and they have been a really good choice until now, when one of the arms just fell off as I took them off. They have had daily use 5 days a week as they are PC/monitor glasses used at work, and they were impressively light and rugged (or so I thought) but having looked under a magnifying glass at the arms where they flex (no hinges) they have lots of tiny cracks / stress fractures in both arms where they open out. It is worth pointing out that they have been kept in a large glasses case which puts very little strain on the arms when folded and provided good protection so storage has not been an issue. Also the cracks are on the inside of the bend not the outside so they are happening as a result of opening the arms to put them on. Finally, I do not have a very large head so they are not being bent as far as they would be for a larger person - this all adds up to the conclusion that hingeless plastic frames are not very good value if they are going to break every year or so. Interestingly one of the most recent reviewers has had the same thing happen so it is obviously a material weakness issue but as they were over a year old they have been told to spend £25 on a new pair (as I suspect I will be told too) I am not sure how this will go down with my company as they have to pay for them! Also, I don't know if the lenses will fit an alternative frame if I don't want to buy the same frames again (knowing what I do about their lack of longevity).

All prescription glasses are made to an incredibly high standard in one of our labs. Find out more here.
Finding the correct frame size to suit you requires you to know a little about the different measurements that are used. Size information is normally broken down in to arm / temple length (ranges between 120 - 150mm), bridge width (ranges between 14 - 24mm, and lens width (ranges between 40 - 62mm). We also include a frame height measurement where possible, this can vary depending on frame style.
If you require further help, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team on 03303 801 190 (Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm) for further assistance.
If you have a pair of glasses that are a perfect fit, you can usually find the frame size information on the frame - usually on the arm or the bridge.
What to look for?
You will often find a variety of information on the frame, including model number, branding and frame sizing. The numbers you are looking for will be similar to this format 150 - 22 - 50 although this can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. These numbers provide the following information:-
150 - Arm / temple size (in mm), a 3 digit value normally ranging from 120 - 150.
22 - Bridge size (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 14 - 24.
50 - Lens width (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 40 - 62.
We do our best to ensure we stock all available items from all our supplied brands so if an item is not listed it may be out of stock or discontinued. If you do not see the frame size you require please contact us through our Customer Services system where we will try to assist you.
