Oakley Crosslink Switch - with 2x sets of interchangeable lenses*
The Oakley Crosslink Switch is a unique frame that allows the wearer to quickly and easily change the lenses within the frame as required for different uses.
The Oakley Crosslink Switch is supplied with two sets of lenses*. This allows the wearer to have one set of lenses for every-day prescription use, then choose to have the second set of lenses tinted so that you can switch them over to sunglasses when you pop out to the park for lunch on a sunny day.
Or, if you wish, you can have one set of lenses for general distance use, then have the second set of lenses for close-up reading use for those working hours. The choice is yours.
When ordering Oakley Crosslink Switch from SelectSpecs.com, please select your primary use for the glasses. (Our current ordering system only allows us to accept a single use at this time).
If you only require the glasses for a single use with only one set of lenses, just complete your order as normal. The second set of lenses will be supplied as part of your order, but will remain 'unglazed' as plastic dummy lenses at NO EXTRA COST.
If you require the use of the second set of lenses for this frame, please follow these steps:*
- When ordering these Crosslink Switch frames, please add the following text in the Notes or Comments Box: "I would like the 2nd set of lenses completed please"
When you reach your shopping basket, before proceeding to Checkout
- Click the Reglaze tab at the top of the page.
- Select Full Rim
- Enter your Frame Description as: "2nd Set of Lenses for New Crosslink Switch"
- If you only require the second set of lenses to be tinted with no prescription, select Plano/Fashion Lenses
- Enter second prescription if required
- Select lens thickness
- Select tint if required
- Add to basket
*Second set of lenses will be supplied with plastic dummy lenses as standard, optional additional fee applies if you require a prescription or tint in the second lenses.

Loved them when first arrived but earsocks have deteriorated after 7 months max.. And they are not easy to replace.. I cannot source locally or via Selectspecs... Definite design/material flaw which is disappointing from Oakley.

At first I was delighted with the saving I achieved from selectspecs however as the novelty wore off so did the quality and usability of Oakley Crosslink Switch. The carry case and switchover function (not sturdy) are not an everyday practicality in my experience. I would never chose this facility again. The ear socks have worn badly and the frame paint is degraded so overall they look scruffy. The high street price would have me in tears however I saved 100's buying here so am just disappointed. Otherwise Oakley sunglasses have been previously superb. The wired arms are good and are comfortable and grippy. No idea where to replace my arm sleeves??

My Oakley glasses came in good time and I'm really pleased with the frames and the style. My only complaint are the varifocal lenses and the distortion levels. I know that varifocals have distortions around the edges, but they are huge on these lenses.
The glasses took a lot of getting use to. You need to look straight ahead to see clearly. A slight movement off this line will blur your vision. This can be a pain when driving as you can't easily look over your shoulder and get a clear image.

The sunglasses lenses seemed to be the prescription that was attached however the clear lenses did not have the same magnification and do not seem to be my prescription as I ordered they just seem to be clear basic lenses but have been unable to organise a possible swap/new lense order. The tinted lenses are perfect but the clear lenses don't seem to be at all and neither are the spare clear lenses as I ordered.

All prescription glasses are made to an incredibly high standard in one of our labs. Find out more here.
Finding the correct frame size to suit you requires you to know a little about the different measurements that are used. Size information is normally broken down in to arm / temple length (ranges between 120 - 150mm), bridge width (ranges between 14 - 24mm, and lens width (ranges between 40 - 62mm). We also include a frame height measurement where possible, this can vary depending on frame style.
If you require further help, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team on 03303 801 190 (Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm) for further assistance.
If you have a pair of glasses that are a perfect fit, you can usually find the frame size information on the frame - usually on the arm or the bridge.
What to look for?
You will often find a variety of information on the frame, including model number, branding and frame sizing. The numbers you are looking for will be similar to this format 150 - 22 - 50 although this can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. These numbers provide the following information:-
150 - Arm / temple size (in mm), a 3 digit value normally ranging from 120 - 150.
22 - Bridge size (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 14 - 24.
50 - Lens width (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 40 - 62.
We do our best to ensure we stock all available items from all our supplied brands so if an item is not listed it may be out of stock or discontinued. If you do not see the frame size you require please contact us through our Customer Services system where we will try to assist you.
