I got these glasses fairly quickly, and I am overall quite satisfied with them. However, and it’s not the first time it happens with selectspecs cheap glasses, is that the arms at the certain point become really wide, and the glasses end up constantly on the tip of your nose. I’ve tied as much as I could the two screws that hold the hinges, so much that the arms don’t bend any more and are fixed, but have to do that every three days or so, and it gets obviously annoying. You think that’s my head? Nope, it’s quite narrow actually, and I don’t sleep with the glasses on. ;)
I am due to a new pair of glasses now (lower dioptres, yay!), but I’ll go for the equivalent metal frame model, as in other Savannah plastic frames (I think I bought other two or three of the coloured arms ones) I encountered exactly the same problem. At least, being in metal I will bend the frame with the pliers should this issue happen again.
I would certainly recommend selectspecs, but not the plastic models.

A simple, classic set of specs, that is almost "elegant", with what has been "tweaked" in plastic design -- at incredible value. Far better-looking than what I needed for intermediate-distance use at my computer at home! These frames are comfortable, light-weight, and sturdy. Nicest touch here is that clear break, at the hinge, in the otherwise solid line of the profile. The clear break houses a well-made hinge (not all hinges are!), and by being clear, adds chrome accents to the arms. The black ones I purchased are GLOSSY -- these are neither matt or dull-looking. At just 30mm deep, they have a narrow appearance (slightly more narrow than the angled photo may suggest), and the frames themselves measure 130mm across, from black edge to black edge, so they should suit most face sizes. Selectspecs also deserves 5 Stars for their lens quality, which I have, for years now, found outstanding, and is worth mentioning. These are 5-star specs as far as I'm concerned (and I've worn a lot of glasses over the years), and TEN stars for value.

Not sure if this frame is right for you? See our guide to face shapes & frame styles here.
All prescription glasses are made to an incredibly high standard in one of our labs. Find out more here.
Finding the correct frame size to suit you requires you to know a little about the different measurements that are used. Size information is normally broken down in to arm / temple length (ranges between 120 - 150mm), bridge width (ranges between 14 - 24mm, and lens width (ranges between 40 - 62mm). We also include a frame height measurement where possible, this can vary depending on frame style.
If you require further help, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team on 03303 801 190 (Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm) for further assistance.
If you have a pair of glasses that are a perfect fit, you can usually find the frame size information on the frame - usually on the arm or the bridge.
What to look for?
You will often find a variety of information on the frame, including model number, branding and frame sizing. The numbers you are looking for will be similar to this format 150 - 22 - 50 although this can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. These numbers provide the following information:-
150 - Arm / temple size (in mm), a 3 digit value normally ranging from 120 - 150.
22 - Bridge size (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 14 - 24.
50 - Lens width (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 40 - 62.
We do our best to ensure we stock all available items from all our supplied brands so if an item is not listed it may be out of stock or discontinued. If you do not see the frame size you require please contact us through our Customer Services system where we will try to assist you.
