My mother recommended this site to me, I thought it too good to be true! But it really is fantastic! I spent £35 last year on some glasses more or less like these, and had spend £10 more on UV protection, and another £10 on Scratch protection - IT'S ALL FREE HERE! Really great service, simple and easy. And these particular glasses are a wonderful design. My only niggle with them, is they have two metal dots (which I assume are part of the connection) on the far side of each frame, makes it look a bit odd. But they're not that noticeable. Perfect!

Received these a month ago and couldn't be happier. Though the frame feels cheapish compared to my designer brand glasses (but come on, these cost so little they're almost for free), it looks good and that plastic-y finish goes really well with this nerdy hipster style. Very lightweight, even with my -4.75 lenses. Great value for money and good service, I will definitely be a returning customer.

I need a spare pair of glasses for DIY and work where they could be damaged. The glasses arrived fine, they seem of good construction and initially appeared to be good value for money.
The problem is that they are fitted with the wrong prescription and it strains my right eye very badly. As a result, they have ended up being wasted money.. Disappointing - live and learn I suppose.
Even if you type your prescription correctly (I double checked the original) there's nobody to check everything is OK with your vision when you try them on at home. I'd be concerned if I were buying these for children for this exact reason.

I am going to pursue a refund on this purchase, the glasses in the picture were not the exact ones that I received. Plus the corner gluing of the separate parts is a very shoddy job and it looks really rough. I appreciate the glasses are only £10 plus £5.95 for postage, but surely Selectspecs should be sending out the exact product which they advertise.

Finding the correct frame size to suit you requires you to know a little about the different measurements that are used. Size information is normally broken down in to arm / temple length (ranges between 120 - 150mm), bridge width (ranges between 14 - 24mm, and lens width (ranges between 40 - 62mm). We also include a frame height measurement where possible, this can vary depending on frame style.

150 - Arm / temple size (in mm), a 3 digit value normally ranging from 120 - 150.
22 - Bridge size (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 14 - 24.
50 - Lens width (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 40 - 62.
