Could have bought the same in local chemist at a better price

Yes I went for a cheap option but I could have gone to **** or any supermarket and purchased the same for a better price with an arm spring back option, the lens may or may not be better quality than the high street option, this is dfficult to tell, so overall when you build in the P & P costs not a good buy

SelectSpecs.com says...
Hi, sorry to hear your not satisfied with your glasses but we disagree that you would find an better quality product with 1.56 lenses and all coatings for a cheaper price.

A similar priced product from a high street optician would cost in excess of £50 with lenses and coatings, over double the cost of this product.

While this is not related to our budget collection of glasses, this blog post clearly shows the grossly inflated prices customers are faced with when buying prescription glasses on the high street - view our blog post.

Good value for money; decent quality.

I bought these glasses as a spare pair to keep in the car. I've since found that I like them for watching TV so they now live in the house! The appear to be quite strong, Good value for an every, no-nonsense pair of glasses.
Shipped 6 days after ordering and took a further 5 days to get here (France) but it was Christmas period.

I was quite pleased with the glasses when they arrived, but after a couple of weeks one of the nose pads came off. I took them to a local optician who supplied a new pair of pads that cost me £6. It was not worth the bother of sending them back to you for that, but it was a bit of a disappointment.

Help with frame sizes

Finding the correct frame size to suit you requires you to know a little about the different measurements that are used.  Size information is normally broken down in to arm / temple length (ranges between 120 - 150mm), bridge width (ranges between 14 - 24mm, and lens width (ranges between 40 - 62mm).  We also include a frame height measurement where possible, this can vary depending on frame style.

If you require further help, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team on 03303 801 190 (Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm) for further assistance.

I already have glasses, how do I find out their size?

If you have a pair of glasses that are a perfect fit, you can usually find the frame size information on the frame - usually on the arm or the bridge.

Size Guide - Frame Dimensions

What to look for?
You will often find a variety of information on the frame, including model number, branding and frame sizing. The numbers you are looking for will be similar to this format 150 - 22 - 50 although this can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.  These numbers provide the following information:-

150 - Arm / temple size (in mm), a 3 digit value normally ranging from 120 - 150.
22 - Bridge size (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 14 - 24.
