Brought these glasses beause they were rimless and had the clip on shades. Delivery was quick and I was impressed with the quality. Clip on sun shades great for in the car when im driving and the sun comes out. I will order from this company again.

I really like my glasses. They do fit very well, once I got them adjusted to me. But with my prescription and prism, they could have used shorter screws at the nosepiece, so that the nuts holding them on wouldn't press into my nose.
The magnetic sunglasses are fine, except that when they are on, they stay too far away from the lenses, so it gives even more of a chance for wind to get under them and make them move around. But they are anchored fairly well, so as far as them actually coming off the glasses, it does take quite a little bit.
The other concern I have is that they were made in China, because the UK office does not have these frames in stock. Only the Hong Kong Lab does. So be careful if you believe that it is only coming from the UK.
Overall, though, I would have to say I am very satisfied with my glasses. They do look good, and my Doctor had verified the prescription in the lenses, and said that they were correct, including my double PD, and my double prism.

The Specs look good and were well priced but the quality of the lenses was poor - the varifocal area was ok, but the main vision area was not - it was too small and only central - looking slightly to the side (at an angle as small as around 10 degrees) produces a distorted vision. With my previous experience of SelectSpecs, I expected better. Also, the 'magnetic' clip-on does not seem to be magnetic but rather, just 'tension-fit'. If it is magnetic, it is very weak and they fall off with ease, making it close to useless - a shame since it seemed to be a good idea.

All prescription glasses are made to an incredibly high standard in one of our labs. Find out more here.
Finding the correct frame size to suit you requires you to know a little about the different measurements that are used. Size information is normally broken down in to arm / temple length (ranges between 120 - 150mm), bridge width (ranges between 14 - 24mm, and lens width (ranges between 40 - 62mm). We also include a frame height measurement where possible, this can vary depending on frame style.
If you require further help, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team on 03303 801 190 (Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm) for further assistance.
If you have a pair of glasses that are a perfect fit, you can usually find the frame size information on the frame - usually on the arm or the bridge.
What to look for?
You will often find a variety of information on the frame, including model number, branding and frame sizing. The numbers you are looking for will be similar to this format 150 - 22 - 50 although this can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. These numbers provide the following information:-
150 - Arm / temple size (in mm), a 3 digit value normally ranging from 120 - 150.
22 - Bridge size (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 14 - 24.
50 - Lens width (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 40 - 62.
We do our best to ensure we stock all available items from all our supplied brands so if an item is not listed it may be out of stock or discontinued. If you do not see the frame size you require please contact us through our Customer Services system where we will try to assist you.
