nice stylish specs, brilliant service!
I placed my order on the night of the 22nd of Jan and recieved my glasses on the 11th of Feb - the wait seemed like ages but it was just because I was really looking forward to my glasses, and I was not disapointed at all!
The photos on the website are very true to form, the frames are really sturdy at the sides and are are very good fit on my face. If you have quite a narrow face these would be perfect, if you maybe have a more rounded fuller face I would maybe avoid these ones as there is no give in the arms/frame to allow for a little stretch. I went to a high street optitions for my test, tried on a few frames to get an idea of style and fit then looked up the glasses on their website to get the sizing to ensure I was picking glasses from here which I knew would fit correctly.
The frames are very light but still feel very good quality. The detailing on the side is very nice and looks almost metalic/pearly in the light next to the high gloss shine of the black it looks amazing! The hinge feels really sturdy and the arm doesnt flop about like on my previous frames from the highstreet which were ALOT more expensive. Obviously, I have only had my frames for a day and only time will tell if these loosen up but so far I am pretty confident and happy.
I had a slight issue/problem with my account tracker not showing the details and emailed customer service who advised me very quickly not to worry and that it was a slight tenchical problem with the site and that my order was still being processed. Apart from that the online tracker is brilliant and its really easy to contact customer services through your account.
These honestly do look and feel more expensive than they were. The ordering process is really easy and straight forwards and the customer service is brilliant! I had looked at other online services such as this but they didn't do the lenses that I required and stopped just short of what my prescription was - I dont think that this will be an issue with Select Specs for some time yet!
I honestly would recommend the frames as well as Select Specs. For the price you pay, the variety of frames they offer, the lense options and prescriptions you really can't go wrong!
I will be ordering again with them - I am one very happy customer

Finding the correct frame size to suit you requires you to know a little about the different measurements that are used. Size information is normally broken down in to arm / temple length (ranges between 120 - 150mm), bridge width (ranges between 14 - 24mm, and lens width (ranges between 40 - 62mm). We also include a frame height measurement where possible, this can vary depending on frame style.

If you have a pair of glasses that are a perfect fit, you can usually find the frame size information on the frame - usually on the arm or the bridge.
