The AFI Awards is best known for being an event where outstanding television shows and films from the previous year are recognised. Some of the movies and TV shows selected included the likes of ‘Dunkirk’, ‘Missouri’, ‘Big Little Lies’ and ‘Stranger Things 2’.
What is different about this particular event is the idea that every nominee is a winner and that no physical awards are given on the night.
This year’s private luncheon was held on the 5th January 2018 at a secret venue in Los Angeles.
Many celebrities attended the prestigious event, such as Saoirse Ronan, Emilia Clarke and Milo Ventimiglia.
