How to Style Florals with Sunglasses

We know what you’re thinking – florals, for Spring? Groundbreaking.

However, florals are big news for SS18, so why not jump on the bandwagon and incorporate them back into your wardrobe this season?

We love how much freedom there is to experiment with this trend, with florals available in countless styles and colour-ways – so you can go as subtle as you wish, or wear them loud and proud!

We have created five different ways in which to rock florals with eyewear this Spring.

If you need some help on the styling front, we’ve got you covered!

Feminine Florals

Miss Blumarine Teen Floral Print Shirt, Gucci Embellished Wool and Silk-Blend Skirt, Michael Kors Caged Pointed Ballerinas, Valentino The Rockstud Leather Bucket Bag

This look is absolutely wonderful for the Spring time!

We have styled a brightly coloured floral shirt with a plain black fitted skirt for a simple yet wearable look.

To add further pops of colour, we have also included a pair of strappy flats and a matching bucket bag – we love the subtle grunge vibe!

The perfect pair of specs for this look would be these Carrera CARRERA 133/S options from us here at SelectSpecs.

Artsy Florals

Isola Marras Pleated Floral Dress, Oscar De La Renta Fitted Suit Blazer, Raye Raven Heel in Green Velvet, Tory Burch Georgia Zip Continental Wallet, Ted Baker London Leather Strap Watch

This is more of a subtle floral look, which features matching accessories.

A floral pleated dress has been teamed with a matching blazer – this gives the outfit more of a formal vibe.

In terms of accessories, we have added a pair of green velvet stiletto heels, a quilted purse and a pale pink rose gold watch.

A great pair of sunglasses to go with this look would be the Oliver Peoples OV5183SM O’MALLEY NYC frames from SelectSpecs.

Punky Florals

Topshop Petite Floral Print Jumpsuit, Seychelles Theater Bootie in Black Leather & Shearling, Givenchy Logo Print Rucksack, Hermés Vintage H Buckle Belt

This is more of an alternative way to sport florals!

We have paired a ditsy floral printed cold shoulder jumpsuit with some black cleated heeled boots, which add a slight punky vibe to the ensemble.

To draw everything together, we have included a quirky belt to the look as well as a statement Givenchy backpack.

For eyewear, we have opted for this pair of Ray-Ban RB3556N sunglasses from our online store.

Sexy Florals

Topshop Velvet Embroidered Appliqué Body, Coach Floral Print Skirt, Sigerson Morrison Hye Boots in Black, Dolce & Gabbana Millennials Embellished Lizard Effect Leather Shoulder Bag

This is such a sexy yet statement look to wear in the Spring time!

We have teamed a daring black bodysuit with a mustard coloured floral mini skirt for a contrasting look.

To ramp up the sexiness, we have included a pair of knee high boots – they work incredibly well with shorter skirts!

We have chosen to keep the accessories simple here for maximum impact.

Fashion Forward Florals

Topshop Cotton Poplin Bardot Top, Marques’almeida Floral Cropped Flared Trousers, Loeffler Randall Vera Heel in Indigo, J.W. Anderson Mini Pierce Tote, Gas Bijoux Fringe Earrings

This is such an easy-to-wear ensemble, and we love how fashion forward it is, too!

We have styled a pale blue bardot style top with a pair of multicoloured flared trousers, which are bang on trend!

To tie in well with the bright colour scheme, we have added a plain blue handbag and matching heels as well as this pair of wonderful tasseled earrings.
