Prints are a great way of adding flair and creativity to your wardrobe and in 2018, prints are going to be popular across all accessories and eyewear.
Here are some of the print eyewear trends to look out for… including wild animal prints, stylish monochromatic prints, fanciful florals and much more.
Pretty Paisleys
This luxurious print dates back centuries and was first used on very expensive silk fabrics for the upper classes. So there’s something extremely exclusive about this stunning print. Paisley accessories add a timeless finish to any outfit, and these pretty paisley specs by Etro are a must-have for SS18.
Wild Animal Prints
In 2018, animal prints are taking a walk on the wild side. Instead of matching prints, we’ll be indulging in clashing prints. And this includes cross-animal coordinating. Such as these totally fabulous frames from Marc Jacobs, which mix snow leopard with zebra print and yellow leopard with tiger print.
Floral Romance
Romantic florals will always have a place in the modern day wardrobe and we can always turn to Dolce & Gabbana for the prettiest floral prints ever. The Dolce & Gabbana brand is renowned for Renaissance-style romance and their accessories are anything but drab.
Marble Prints
Marble will also be making a comeback, with a particular focus on monochromatic tones like black, white and grey. These OXYDO OX 1098/CS/LE sunglasses are the perfect example of next season’s chic prints in eyewear – and the splash of teal on the brow bar adds a fun retro twist!
Psychedelic Prints
We’re not done with the sixties just yet and the latest trend for accessories includes groovy patterns and colours as a nod to the cool, carefree era. There are added bonus points for optical illusion patterns too. And we are likely to see optical illusion in everything from holographic handbags and novelty hologram lenses (think Fendi) to fun patterned frames like this one from Bvlgari…
