Another year passes, another year of the BAFTA Television Awards.
It is seen as one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in the entertainment industry, celebrating talented actors as well as successful television shows.
This year was the 72nd year of the ceremony, which was held on the evening of the 12th May 2019 at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
Many fantastic tv shows were nominated for awards on the night, including the likes of Bodyguard, Killing Eve, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.
Celebrities were also present on the red carpet of the event, rocking some fabulous evening wear and eyewear.

Louis Theroux is best known for being a British filmmaker and journalist.

Actor Benedict Cumberbatch was present during the BAFTA TV Awards ceremony.
Cumberbatch managed to pick up the award for ‘Best Actor’ for his role as Patrick Melrose in the television series of the same name.
He looked rather suave and sophisticated for the occasion, sporting a black and white suit ensemble for the event.
