The Critics Choice Awards for this year were hosted at the Barker Hangar at Santa Monica Airport, California – what an interesting choice of location!
The movie themed awards show premiered on the evening of the 13th January 2019.
Many big-name flicks were nominated for awards on the night including the likes of Black Panther, A Star is Born and Roma.
In addition to this, several high-profile celebrities were spotted on the Critics Choice’s red carpet.
This included famous names such as Richard Madden, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Spike Lee.
Some stars showcased some fabulous examples of fashion and eyewear on the red carpet this year.

San Francisco born actor Darren Criss attended the Critics Choice Awards this year.
The 31 year old opted to wear a very simple yet suave outfit on the red carpet.

Mexican film director Alfonso Cuaron collected several awards overall on the night.
This shot was taken when he was accepting one of the awards for his film Roma.

Crazy Rich Asians is a popular comedy drama movie, which was released in 2018.
The cast members were present at the event and won the award for ‘Best Comedy’ on the night.
