Download Festival is an annual rock and metal festival, held in June at Donington Park, Leicestershire.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the festival was cancelled last year. However, it returned in 2021 as a Pilot event with a reduced capacity of 10,000 people and was held between the 18th-20th June 2021.
There were a limited number of acts performing over the weekend compared to the normal festival. Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Enter Shikari and Bullet for My Valentine were the headliners of choice for 2021.
Each attendee had to provide evidence of a negative lateral flow and PCR test before being allowed to enter the festival grounds, as well as taking another PCR test 5 days after leaving.
As well as the fantastic music, there were also some very inspirational fashion and eyewear looks at the Download Pilot last month.

Zen in Zebra Print
This Download Pilot Festival attendee rocked up wearing an eye catching ensemble!
She chose to wear a funky green and black zebra print two piece for the occasion, which is very festival appropriate.
The outfit has been styled up well with a pair of plain black wellies for a chilled look – perfect in case the rain hits!
Some layered silver jewellery pieces give even more personality to the look, as well as a black studded shoulder bag.
The ensemble has been finished off with a pair of stylish squared sunnies.

Rock N’ Roll
We are obsessed with all three of these looks from the Download Pilot festival, but we particularly love the ensemble on the right!
This colourful festival goer has chosen to wear a plain white bandeau top, layered up with a green and blue tartan shirt which has been knotted at the front.
Some simple black shorts have been added to the mix, accessorised with a matching chained belt for an edgy feel.
A black vinyl biker jacket, simple chained jewellery pieces and some fishnet tights help to pull things together.
The look has been finished off well with some matching wellies and a pair of blacked out tortoiseshell shades.

Pretty in Purple
We adore both of these festival looks, however we are absolutely in love with the outfit on the right!
This lady is sporting a pink and white striped tee with a blue slogan on the front – cute!
She has styled it up uniquely with a pair of black and white checked cycling shorts and a lilac coloured rain coat for a quirky festival outfit.
A pair of metallic pink wellies help to complete the ensemble, as well as a simple grey beanie hat and a pair of octagonal shaped shades.

Metallic Mermaid
This is such a cool look from this alternative festival goer!
She is rocking a purple and blue tie dye t-shirt with some casual black cycling shorts, which we are obsessed with.
A pair of turquoise blue Dr Marten boots add a quirky feel to the proceedings, not to mention the addition of a metallic purple rain coat – we love the mermaid scale type print!

Wrapped in Chains
This is such a wonderful look from this Download Pilot attendee.
She opted to wear a simple plain black vest top, but has chosen to style it up with a gothic inspired harness for an alternative feel – we adore the subtle chain and O ring detailing!
