Get your prescription...

To buy prescription glasses from our website you will need a copy of your prescription. If you've recently had your eyes tested but do not have a copy of your prescription, ask your optician for a copy as they'te obliged by law to provide you with this information.


My prescription is 2 years out of date...

In this case, we advise you to have your eyes tested before you order glasses from us. Your prescription may not have changed in this period, however, an eye test will also check the general health of your eyes.


Don't forget your Pupillary Distance (PD) measurement...

You will also need a PD measurement to buy prescription glasses from our website. If your optician won't give you this measurement we can take the PD from an old pair of glasses or you may measure it yourself with one of our PD rulers available here.

I'm looking for a designer frame...

If you know exactly what you're looking for right down to the model number of the frame our search tool (top right) will locate the item for you quickly and easily.


Alternatively, we recommend choosing from one of the logo's found in the 'Designer Brands' tab or by choosing one of the designers listed in the left hand menu's on our search result pages.


I want to find a frame by size...

To find that perfect fitting frame we recommend using the "Find Glasses by Size" tool (in the 'Index' tab), this will return frames with the same or very close to your specified dimensions. If you are unsure as to what size your frame is, the measurement is normally shown on the arm like this: 135-16-52


150 = an arm length of 150mm

22 = a bridge width of 22mm

50 = a lens width of 50mm


If you're unable to find any matches, try broadening your search criteria.

1.49 Index For prescriptions with Sphere values from Plano to +/- 3.00

1.56 Index For prescriptions with Sphere values from +/- 3.00 to +/- 3.75

1.61 Index For prescriptions with Sphere values around +/- 4.00

1.67 or 1.74 Index For prescriptions with Sphere values above +/- 4.25

We supply a wide range of Tint's, Polarised & Photochromic options, these options can be selected at the same time you choose your lenses.


FREE coatings...

All our lenses are supplied with UV, Anti-Reflection and Scratch Resistant coatings free of charge saving you over compared to other online retailers.

The final stage before completing your transaction is to add your prescription, simply add the details displayed on your prescription form into the SPH, CYL, AXIS and ADD boxes as required. If you're unsure about any of the details, you may either fax or post your prescription to us, or attach a copy with your order.


Your PD measurement...

Enter a PD measurement into the drop down menu, the average is 63mm. If you don't know your PD you can send us an old pair of glasses which we can take a PD measurement from.


Please note: Be sure to enter the correct +/- values into your prescription.

Now that your item has been added to your basket you can complete your transaction through our checkout system. We accept all major methods of payment including major credit card and PayPal. We also accept Accor Eyecare vouchers.

Can I track the progress of my order?

Of course, all orders can be tracked through our tracking system from order to shipping.


How long do budget items take to complete and ship?

All budget orders are shipped from our labs in Hong Kong. Basic single vision items with simple prescriptions normally take less than 7 working days to complete while complicated prescriptions with bifocal or varifocal lenses may take between 1-3 weeks. Delivery from Hong Kong usually takes 1-2 weeks but delays may occur during busy periods.


How long do designer items take to complete and ship?

All designer orders are shipped from our UK offices. Basic single vision items with simple prescriptions normally take less than 7 working days to complete while complicated prescriptions with bifocal or varifocal lenses may take between 1-3 weeks. Delivery from the UK usually takes between 1-3 working days for UK orders but delays may occur during busy periods.

All of our lenses, from our 1.49 Standard to 1.74 UltraX Super Thin High Index lenses, fitted to any of our prescription frames, come complete with FREE UV, Anti-Reflection, and Scratch Resistant Coatings.

We supply a wide range of Tinted, Photochromic and Polarised lens options from the prices listed below. To select any of these lens options, simply select a pair of glasses and proceed to our prescription page where you can select the lens options listed below.

For Tints, you may also select your own tint percentage. Just advise us in the "Additional info" box when ordering to suggest the depth of tint required, for example grey 15% absorption is a very light tint, 25% light/medium, 50% medium, 75% medium to dark, and 85% dark Sunglasses. The maximum tint permitted for blue, pink or yellow is 30%.

Everyone's favourite Manic Pixie Dream Girl* - Zooey Deschanel stars in a new television show called New Girl wearing geeky glasses starting on Ch 4 in the UK tonight at 8:30pm.  There has always been something about the lovely Zooey that is so quirky and adorable and its great to see that the (500) Days of Summer actress has at last landed the leading role in a successful new TV series.

New Girl has been nominated for two Golden Globes in the US – ‘Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy’ and one for Zooey Deschanel herself - ‘Best Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy’ so it should be well worth a look when it hits UK goggle-boxes tonight.
