Job Completion Timescales

How long will my order take to complete?

90% of our orders are usually shipped within 7-10 working days from the point of being processed. This includes orders with high index lenses and complex prescriptions, and prescription sunglasses.


Cheque Payments

If you are making payment by cheques drawn on a UK bank account, we will only process your order once your payment has been received.


We will of course try to complete orders as quickly as possible, however, unforeseen delays can occur during the production process. These delays can be caused by the specialised glazing techniques that are often required for some lens types.





How long will my reglaze / lens replacement job take to complete?

Delivery will vary from order to order depending upon the type of frame you wish to have glazed and your prescription requirements. You will be advised of an approximate timescale for delivery with your confirmation email, you will receive this email after your order is placed.


Kindly note we can only start production of your order upon receipt of your frames. 90% of our reglaze orders are completed within 7-10 working days upon receipt of your frames.

How much does shipping cost?

Our shipping prices are calculated according to the number and the type of items in your shopping basket. We anticipate that the majority of orders will have a standard shipping cost starting at $9.34 but this can vary according to the products you are ordering.


Orders can be shipped to anywhere in the world for no extra cost - we do not charge an international shipping fee.


Orders over $117.75 (or equivelent in local currency) will be shipped free of charge worldwide upon redemption of the promo code available in the shopping basket.


Shipping Options

Standard shipping is in most cases sent by Royal Mail recorded and is our responsibility until signed for by you. For budget items (such as glasses in our "World's Cheapest Glasses" range) we will usually ship your order by a non-signed/non-tracked method.


Insured shipping is always sent by a signed-for method with a tracking number. This tracking number will be displayed with your order in your account when your order is shipped. For high value items or reglaze orders we recommend choosing this option.


*Delivery rates for Europe and the Rest of the World are approximate only and vary daily depending on exchange rates.


Where will my order be shipped from?

Designer Glasses and Sunglasses - All designer prescription glasses and sunglasses are shipped from our UK office.


Budget Prescription Glasses - All budget prescription glasses including glasses in our $9.42 range are shipped from our UK office.





How long does shipping take?

We anticipate delivery to be within 10 working days from date of shipping depending on where in the world you are located. Whilst the majority of customers will receive their orders in around 3-7 working days from date of shipping there are cases where orders may be delayed by the postal system, delays of such are beyond our control.


If your order does not arrive within 10 working days of dispatch, please do not worry; it is very likely that it will arrive very soon. In line with Royal Mail guidelines, we cannot consider a package lost until 25 working days have passed. This is because the vast majority of packages will be delivered or returned to us as 'undeliverable' within this time.


If after 25 working days your order has still not arrived, please contact us at via our help and information pages on the website to arrange a free replacement. Please include your order number, name and the date of dispatch in your email. This does not apply to customer's own items or to reglazesthat are sent at the customer's risk unless we agree otherwise in writing.
