How long will my job take to complete?

In the most part orders are usually completed within 7-10 working days but there are many variables involved, these include:


  • High index lenses or complicated prescriptions
    These can take approximately 1-3 weeks to complete.

  • Prescription Sunglasses
    These can take approximately 1-4 weeks to complete. This depends on the size and curvature of the frames being purchased together with your particular prescription requirements.
Job Completion Timescales

We will of course try to complete orders as quickly as possible, however, unforeseen delays can occur during the production process. These delays can be caused by the specialised glazing techniques that are often required for these lens types.

How long will my reglaze / lens replacement job take to complete?

Delivery will vary from order to order depending upon the type of frame you wish to have glazed and your prescription requirements, you will be advised of an approximate timescale for delivery with your confirmation email, you will receive this after your order is placed.


Kindly note we can only start production of your order upon receipt of your frames. In the most part orders are completed within 7-10 days after receipt of your frames, if you require High Index lenses and / or tints, polarised or photochromic options, or have a complicated prescription your order may take approximately 1-3 weeks.

How much does shipping cost?

Our shipping prices are calculated according to the number and the type of items in your shopping basket. We anticipate that the majority of orders will have a standard shipping cost starting at £3.50 (€4 approx* / US$5 approx* / AUS$7.50 approx*) but this can vary according to the products you are ordering.

Orders can be shipped to anywhere in the world for no extra cost - we do not charge an international shipping fee!

Shipping Options

Standard shipping is in most cases sent by Royal Mail recorded and is our responsibility until signed for by yourself. For budget items (such as glasses in our "World's Cheapest Glasses" range) we will usually ship your order by a non-signed/non-tracked method.


Insured shipping is always sent by a signed for method with a tracking number. This tracking number will be displayed with your order in your account when your order is shipped. For high value items or reglaze orders we recommend choosing the Insured Shipping option.


*Delivery rates for Europe and the Rest of the World are approximate only and vary daily depending on exchange rates.

Where will my order be shipped from?

Designer Glasses and Sunglasses - All designer prescription glasses and sunglasses are shipped from our UK or US offices.

Budget Prescription Glasses - All budget prescription glasses including glasses in our £5 range are made and shipped from our laboratories in Hong Kong.

How long does shipping take?

We anticipate delivery to be within 10 working days from date of shipping depending on where in the world you're based. While the majority of customers will receive their orders in around 3-7 working days from date of shipping there are cases where orders may be delayed by the postal system, delays of such are beyond our control.


If your order does not arrive within 10 working days of dispatch, please do not worry; it is very likely that it will arrive very soon. In line with Royal Mail guidelines, we will not consider a package lost until 25 working days have passed. This is because the vast majority of packages will be delivered or returned to us as 'undeliverable' within this time.


If after 25 working days your order has still not arrived, please contact us at via our help and information pages on the website to arrange a free replacement. Please include your order number, name and the date of dispatch in your email. This does not apply to customer's own items or to reglazes which are sent at the customer's risk unless we agree otherwise in writing.
