Supporting Vision Aid Overseas

Vision Aid Overseas is a UK charity dedicated to helping people in the developing world whose lives are blighted by poor eyesight.

 

 

670 million people in the developing world need spectacles to live an ordinary life, but do not have them due to poverty and the lack of opticial services. The consequences for individuals and their communities can be devastating.

 

The work of Vision Aid Overseas helps children to receive an education, mothers and fathers to keep working and gives people the vision to fight poverty.

 

We at SelectSpecs are committed to contributing any glasses we can to Vision Aid Overseas and encourage you to do the same if you have any old glasses tucked away in a draw or cupboard dig them out and send them to us at the address below, or when you place a new order with us you can tell us you wish to send us your old glasses to give to charity.

We also offer a service to confirm your PD/Pupillary Distance measurment for your new order, we can then donate these glasses to Vision Aid Overseas if you do not want them back.
